No Ranked Root Servers Per ID/Activision - That Sucks!!

IMHO none of this BS would be going on right now if ID/Activision/SD would have made the stats setup for client side stats info. No need for BIG STAT servers, no need to worry about STAT WHORES. If a user wanted to see their stats to see how well they are playing they just click a button in the game and it would show them how well they are doing ( for those who gave a rats behind about their stats ). If a user wanted to show their stats they could upload their stats to a their webpage NO BIG DEAL!! That way there would be no need for RANKED & NON-RANKED Servers and having to worrie about Stat Whores & spliting up the QW community. Everyone could all run the same server software. But NOOOOOOOO That would have been to easy :lol: Its a shame they had to set it up the stats info like BF2142 instead of setting the stats info up on the client side. :huh:

I will play on the ranked server for only 1 reason, no mods and official maps.
Better competition and practice. Better teamplay, ff on, stopwatch and maxlives = No spam + great teamplay.

• it ensure that even 5 years after the game release we can still find servers and play the original one w/ official maps.

While being aware that things are subject to change and this is all pointless speculation, I dont mind if the ‘community’ is split up due to rank and unranked servers. Tbh, i’d prefer to play QW on unranked servers with people who have moved from ET rather than former BF numptys on ranked servers.

Divide the ‘community’ into the good and the bad and so long as im on the right side i’ll be happy. Now stick that in ur pipe and smoke it

yes, devide the community between people that want to play ranked and people who dont… this isn’t the first game to do this
