We was going to hire a time machine from Hollywood but they fully booked so we will have to play on 21st after all.

EDIT, after thinking about it I think it maybe best to delay another week cause the main server and TV servers haven’t been tested yet and well if it goes wrong its pretty short time to fix it but if we just do a test this weekend instead like before the regular nirvana make sure everything is working nice and then we can have whole week to try drum up some interest.

Sounds like a plan. I just got the repeater setup correctly (I think) and will try to finish the config tomorrow, but next weekend would fit better for the real match.

What if autodownload is broken ? (like my config).
Do a “Condump roger.txt”, then go to your fs_userpath (usually in Documents for Windows users) and take that roger.txt file.

You should see multiple lines like that :

start download for http://213.236.208.185/download/etqw/etqwpro/zzzz_ice_custom_20100108.pk4
WARNING: download failed: http://213.236.208.185/download/etqw/etqwpro/zzzz_ice_custom_20100108.pk4

So grab the full url (ex: here, it’s “http://213.236.208.185/download/etqw/etqwpro/zzzz_ice_custom_20100108.pk4” ) and copy/paste it into your web browser to download the file manually.

Once you got the file, paste in where the game is installed, watch out to keep same path than it is given on the url (for example, here you’ll have to paste it into /etqwpro/ folder).

The match server and TV server is running, both should offer autodownload but I haven’t tried with a clean client yet.

But I’m not sure if the TV server is working properly - sometimes the client just hang in the console after connect, but it worked ok on some other tests. I wonder if the TV server get confused by map changes, or when the source server is idle?

The TV server should show up if you select TV servers in the game browser, or you can try to connect directly to etqw.nett.org:27745

The match server should work fine but it’s currently without password and miss a few settings, it’s running on etqw.nett.org:27736

Would be fine if someone could test with a clean client to see if it offer and download all maps properly when connecting there.

I’m a bit short on time this weekend unfortunately, have to work but will try to test a bit more tomorrow or Sunday.

Me too is staying stuck on console (but it is the same for other TV servers not running custom contents) and I think chris told me few weeks ago to connect on an empty server first, then join TV server again to fix the problem, so maybe we are all sharing a map breaking our game :slight_smile: (i’m sure it’s viomine … )
