It’ll rather be: “Fix this!” when they know nothing about your code/work but just want to see it done ASAP.
Ok, I’m luckily still a student who isn’t a full-time coder yet. So let the “pro’s” correct this.

I cant wait for all the little dutch kids to have heart attacks when they bump into strogs
Is it only me that is disturbed and annoyed by the fact that these guys are taking pics from other sites…putting their name on it and passing it off as their own. In my opinion if a site has garnered an exclusive pic it should remain their right to have that pic recognised as one from that site until it has been made publicly available. Putting your sites name on the pic is scandalous really.
I’m guessing as soon as screenshots are released, they’re classed as public domain and anyone can grab them. It’s rare to find a gaming site that doesn’t mark pics with their logo’s these days, could be for something as simple as advertising.
No you only put your name on it to protect other people from using your pics and taking the credit for them. This etqw.at site has no right to do this as they have just found a pic online and said “right we’ll have that”. I think its wrong but it is subjective I suppose.
not giving credit for someone else’s work is theft, adding your own name is plagiarism, both illegal
I had to make our download section registered members only due to the fact every Tom, Dickwad, and Harry were hotlinking to our downloads for their crappy little clan sites, costing us terabytes of bandwidth, of course, no credit given and most didn’t even link to us. Stealing is stealing, no matter how you dress it up. Post the origin of your material or don’t post the material.
@ ayatollah
look the pictures of Gamespot, Eurogamer, IGN…
i mark it because:
you have no idea, how many people steal my bandwidth with this new et:qw pictures. therefore i must mark
Altough I am dutch myself, I really hate the younger kids (10-15 ususal) while i am only 17 tho… I hate their behaviour, no respect for anything. Always saying “Kanker” when something goes wrong which means “cancer”. Not really nice when i am playing ET with my neighbour whose mother died cuz of cancer… No respect at all. I really recommend everybody who owns a server or is a ref to kick them for saying “kanker” or “kk” as they use as well in short, they should learn some respect!

Mmmh, I guess saying kk is the shortest way to say you’re angry, but then again, he could just hold his mouth shut as well… If you don’t like words like this I recommend never entering our TS server when we’re scrimming
I wont :O. But it shows how you and your lanmates are as well, i sometimes get annoyed by ppl who dont have any respect for other ppl on the world, you (hopely) will realize this when ur older.
Here is a part in dutch:
En waarom zou je kanker gebruiken? Als je dood gaat is “kut” zeggen ook genoeg, iedereen snapt dat je het jammer vind terwijl niemand zich er aan hoeft te ergeren of dat je iemand er pijn mee doet (psychologish)
I have ‘/say ^6 Behave yourself, you’re not on CounterStrike server !’ bound somewhere and never think twice before using it.
Oh, and I play with cg_TeamChatsOnly 1. Really.
Yeah but I’m a hypocrit and like to hurl expletives at rambo medics and xp whores :bump:
Forget stealing other people’s bandwidth, Imageshack has ya covered and it’s brain-dead easy. Copy the images location and Imageshack will upload it directly to their servers and then you can use imageshack’s bandwidth.(check the image’s location on my post of page 1 of this thread.)
