hey, if you can download a virus, why not another infection

(dandragon) #242

true infectous, like this conversation.
No… he knows the difference, but the person he’s explaining it to clearly does not.
.
Nah, I do. I understand that what is important is the aspect of teamwork, the division of labor. Killing players in order to buy team mates time to complete the objective is great. The problem occurs when killing other players becomes its own end, rather than the means.

Not suggesting people who never touch the objective are wrong, just the people who ignore it.

(Herandar) #244

Modern Warfare was 18+, and I don’t think I ever played a single MP match that didn’t have a kid in it.

(LyndonL) #245

I know. I was just following on from your joke. Guess I’m the one who needed a winky

And to the video. I liked the part where the man shot the other man and he fell down. There were some pretty colours, and some nice sounds, and some fun music

(Om3ga) #246

That is true, beacuse i just ordered new computer and i will get it at 18.5.2011.

AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB - Graphics
Intel Core i7 2600K -Processor
Intel P67-chipset-based motherboard, USB 3.0, SATA III
8GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM
60GB SandForce SSD-Hard drive
1 TB SATA-Hard drive
Noctua NH-U12P SE2-CPU cooler

I guess it can run Brink easily, eh?

(madness) #247

well, we probably wont know before release. As SD/Beth doesn’t seem to want to show any actual PC footage played with mouse/kb by a person who’s actually good at FPS’s :frowning:

(Om3ga) #248

Well, i guess Brink have alot of HUD settings.
There is like weapon icons, it’s acualy useless, if you have draw weapon ON.

(Apoc) #249

 i understand…its not a complex concept. Im just saying, any killing of anyone helps the team, even if you go away from obj and kill someone, your killing someone who is trying to flank your team

(LyndonL) #250

Not when a new battle front is created and draws all resources away from the objective.

(Apoc) #251

It draws resources away for both teams…as long as its equal, and you dont have 5 of your players trying to kill one of theirs…then its beneficial

(LyndonL) #252

Not if you’re attacking and the clock is ticking

I’m just baiting you. I have study notes in one window, and you in this one. Guess where I’m trying to divert my attention. Sorry.

(Humate) #253

Depends on the amount of flankers.
You can go “all in” (to use a SC2 phrase), if the other team has sent all their resources via that route. What happens when you dont, is you are left with a number disadvantage when you take them on… which then creates another number disadvantage when the enemy gets to the objective.

edit: ninja’d by apoc

Depends on whether she cares about the size of your gear.

(Herandar) #255

That phrase was around a long time before SC2.

(Humate) #256

No, are you serious?

(system) #257

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it was valid in SC1 too, remember Boxer’s scv rush?

(Humate) #258

^ No but I’ve been watching all his TSL3 matches cough

(LyndonL) #259

Are you ok Humate? Getting a cold? You’ve been doing a lot of coughing lately. Try some lemsip or something

(Humate) #260

Good idea. I should take a break from eating cod, and try some lemsip.
