And to me the gun sounds seem really awesome. Previously they seemed kind of soft. Now they have real power behind them. :slight_smile:

This video is awesome. The audio is a little weird at times, and I am not sure if the sound going out during shooting is the game or the recorder… it could be something to replicate shock from grenades…

I really dislike the fact that the Security uses molotov cocktails. It really doesn’t fit their style imo.

Splash Damage should have given them the Incendiary grenade instead. It would act just like the molotov cocktail, but it’ll look different in the hand :).

With that in mind, I hope the security engineer turret will at least look cleaner or more high tech… then the rugged and rusted resistance turret.

That’s a brilliant set of footage!! I’m only halfway through watching and buffering atm (stupid downloads) but so far very impressed.

Is it just me, or is the enemy rim-lighting no longer present? I can’t see it, although I admit I’m on a netbook and it’s 1:20am and I’m half asleep atm.

I couldn’t help but notice at 1:20 that the guy used a knife to kill the downed guy, but with a semi automatic rifle. I thought knives were only with the pistols? Or maybe it just looked like a knife?

I do like the footage though! Can someone who is better at keeping up with the weapons in this game tell me what weapon that is at around 1:39? It looks like an assault rifle but seems to be rather slow and powerful.

That looks like an SMG to me. It’s too small to be an assault rifle.

Even SMG, it was said the knife would only be available to pistol holders. SMGs are 1 weight class heavier then pistols.

It looks like we have a mystery in our hands, or the footage is old but previously unreleased? I’m hardly an expert on such things. Old unseen footage would explain the lack of enemy rimlighting, though.

Wow looks much more polished than in previous videos, seeing the cutscenes from both perspectives was very nice.

I don’t agree at all. That’s some great footage, we can see both sides of missions, and good length of gameplay without any cut to have a better feel of the pace of the game, this is the best footage video with seen so far, to me. I really like that, just hope to see it in at least 720p.
