I hope SD will give more videos like this, but possible PC gameplay next time??
Ps. I want that âRevolution Beginsâ shirt

only just now noticed itâs badman playing itâŚwonder what body type it was ? medium ? not very fast, but bit faster than the big guy fluffy_gimp
He talked about the PS3 and x360 being the same, besides the networks, but I wish he would of added something about the PC version. I really hope this game wont just be a port of the console version and a really ****ty one. I mean this is the first FPS I preordered in a really long time. I mean but I keep remembering Steamworks is included with this, so I just remember, no way this can be bad on PC. I just wish he did say SOMETHING about the PC version. But I do realize that the market these days are with the consoles, so I understand where hes coming from, if thats why he âTruelyâ didnât say anything about the PC version. But I guess will all find out when the game is released!
IMO, the sound is quite annoying. The audio for the game just doesnât seem very good.
Also, the gameplay seems pretty slow.
Im not to sure about the rank system. Pleas corect me if Im wrong but dose it go Rank1-5 or dose it go Rank 1 and then to get to rank 2 u must go up 10 ranks and then u get to rank 2.
Kinda like a grade stystem in halo. so u would have Rank 1(Grade1-10) then Rank 2(Grade1-10) and so on⌠I got confuesd in the video because he sais something about being rank 3 wich is the sam as rank 30 or something simular to that:D
Normally iâd be hackles up to this type of remark, but I think this is a âitâs different! Make it go away!â knee-jerk reaction. In the latest Chris Sweetman interview, he mentions theyâve created their own âHDR audioâ that sounds very intriguing.
For those that are lazy, the article says âat its most basic is an automatic mixing system that scans the volume of a WAV file and decides what the playback volume should be based on the distance from the playerâ. It seems to expand on the usual close/medium/far 3-step volume you get, and it always annoyed me when game sounds are practically indistinguishable and you start looking around like an owl on crack to see where the gun fire is coming from. Iâm hoping this new sound technique means I can immediately know if the gunfire is near or far, and keep concentrating on what Iâm doing instead of jumping to panic mode.
This is also interesting, âIâm stuck on a mine.â I think mines were discussed previously but release trigger is news to me.
Iâm a troll for stating my opinion? Seems like you need to look up the definition of troll.
Donât worry. There are a few people around here, because they have 1,000âs of posts, that feel their opinion is the only one. And if you differ in your train of thought you are a âtrollâ or âfanboyâ.
Itâs sad really.

Doug has 350 posts⌠I have 1000âs and embraced his comment.
1. The troll-caller doesnât have that much of a post count
2. Itâs usually the ones with high post counts that are being called fanboys.
shut up fanboy

I was a little harsh, I apologize. I donât think anyone, aside from the people who got to play Brink in a quiet setting, such as âgame journalists,â really have an idea what Brink sounds like. The audio on most of the videos has been pretty bad. The official videos have good audio, but everything else is hit or miss. And therere was that nice article about what Sweetman is attempting to do with the soundâŚ
I think we all need to chill out for two and a half weeks until Brink is in our hands and we get to experience it first hand.
I donât think Bethesda would release a bunch of gameplay clips with broken audio to the media. Itâs the sound design they have.
ya and honestly it sounds annoying. Iâll probably be playing this game muted
Agreed, unlike most of you though I think it sounds pretty good. Maybe the deafness thing is a bit much (but only because there is so much of it, and thatâs really ony in one part), but even that i can live with because everything else sounds really good.

thats your opinion and thats fine.
it would be more construcitve for a discussion though that you argument what exactly is annoying with the sound. âgoodâ is relative and no base for a discussion based on arguments.
i think the sound is in fact âgoodâ. what now? thats my opinion and thats fine but no more.
no. i actually like the fade in, fade outs, if you want to call it that. it adds to realism. i also like the weapon sounds. they have enough âboomâ for my taste.
what i dont like is that guy with his jamaican accent who screams till my ears are bleeding. hope i can tune the auto audio chatter down to my taste.
i also dont like that the system is fully automatic. wheres the âi need a medicâ and stuff? can i at least say hello or taunt? guess no, because a gamepad doesnt have enough buttons, eh?
