Otherwise, it just seems that you (like many others in a certain regard) just want to play ETQW with Brink skin over it. Please accept the fact that it is a different game with different mechanics, on a different scale, and aggregating platforms. Going from WolfET to ETQW, at first I was shocked that I could not shoot my weapon while disguised. Then I learned to backstab etc. In Brink, it’s the same. Forget backstab : it’s gone. Use it for what it is meant to : just reach the enemy’s back line without being spotted too easily, and then begin the sapping work : spotting, hacking, capturing CPs, laying spikes in rush areas, and spot isolated to knockdown + kill them and comhack… it’s just different activities.

Hai there, your reply was kinda moronic but anyway I play brink since day1 and actually brink its the easiest fps I currently play. But I still keep my opinion that when you die and you have to wait 30 seconds gets boring. Decrease attackers respaw timer would have been better imo.

Lets hope SD brings these and any other updates to the consoles. I worry though considering they think that only PC players like game balancing, skill raising patches and console players want nuclear weapons 1 button kill the entire team type crap. If they ever lower the spread of the weapons, etc… I hope they don’t only do that for PC because console can’t handle more accurate shooting (spoken by people who suck with controllers).

my guess would be that the network performance is so bad that you would see how laggy the spectator mode actually is when you are in first person.

It was a technical issue, I think. Something about textures.

Respawn times and nerfed dehacking have been requested a lot more than the things you mentioned. And they are obviously easier to implement.

I was giving examples, since they released a patch especially for pc I was assuming they would have implemented all important suggestions mentioned in the thread. Compared to the thread I bumped the patch is only 5% of the things all mentionned?

Will they ever release an sdk? Badman, are you reading this: Are you guys planning to release a sdk or is it already decided that an sdk will never be released?

Thanks SD for the update. Plays a lot better now although my pretty outdated system can handle Brink a little less smooth now…

They said they would love to, but not sure if they will be able to. Its a budget, manpower issue.
