Lol, you give up too easily… or suck up too easily

An example: The U.S. is the only nation to hold stealth technology.

The british royal navy, and the swedish navy, are two other nations I know who have stealth battleships. Also the uk’s harrier, while quite old now, is still (bar the new eurofighter afaik?) the only fighter jet able to launch vertically.

Your definatly not the most technically advanced nation, to be honest everyone is probably about even.

I suck more than everyone tho as digibob will tell you.

reading this thread has led me to believe that people from all countries in the world are equally stupid. And people need to learn the difference between fact and opinion. anyway looking on the net i found the following

EDUCATION
Literacy (source CIA)

  1. Australia 100%
  2. UK 99%
    68.USA 97%

School life expectancy (source United Nations)

  1. Norway
  2. UK
  3. USA

AMERICAN WAR OF INDEPENDENCE (source:random website)

http://www.revolutionary-war.info/facts/

By 1779, there were more Americans fighting with the British than with Washington!
There were no less than 21 regiments (estimated to total 6,500 to 8,000 men) of loyalists in the British army. Washington reported a field army of 3,468. About a third of Americans opposed the Revolution.

At Yorktown, the victory that won the war, Frenchman outnumbered Americans almost three to one!
Washington had 11,000 men engaged in the battle, while the French had at least 29,000 soldiers and sailors. The 37 French ships-of-the-line played a crucial role in trapping the 8,700 strong British army and winning the engagement.

WW2 (source random website)

http://www.angelfire.com/ct/ww2europe/stats.html

Military Deaths
USSR 12million
Germany 3.25 million
UK 403,000
USA 407,000

so neither the US nor the UK come top in any of the above facts that i have conviently found. Does that mean that both countries are rubbish? or does it mean bugger all? So in summary i agree with Digi as well only ive said it in a more long winded anally retentive fashion because thats the kind of guy i am

Making comments like that without knowing the person’s native language is quite ingnorant tbh.

That’s a point I agree with.

Do you two ask everyone about their nationality, or do you have some magic ability to pinpoint other players location by looking at their ping?

Like all generalisations this is completely wrong.

Lets not forget the Polish, who were the ones who did the initial work to crack the Enigma encryption and also were smart enough to hand it over to the British before they were invaded by Germany.

What was the topic again?

2 days ago that thread was funny… I was even getting some kind of literacy about some soccer/football/whatever-you-call it and now it’s become a “My father can piss farther than yours”…

Most of you are acting like children. Get a grip. We all depended on each other, not only in war btw. We still do, every day.

LOL!

evilsock:
As for the Scots and the Irish never supporting us, well it just goes to show why we had to spank their arses over and over in the past

1/ You never spanked Irish ass. You might have oppressed us and knowingly tried to starve Irish people to death even at one point, but you never spanked us.

2/ That arrogant attitude might help to explain why Irish people at least would find it “difficult” to support England in anything. I would say it’s probably true for the Scots too, but it’s not my place to say.

The world is changing. by 2025 expect the EU to have achieved economic integration along with Russia also, making superpowers of the big ‘four’ France, England, Germany and Russia. The question of America’s size and integrated economy will be solved - there will be another economic force to be reckoned with.

We’ll help to modernise Russia’s vast oil reserves and get it cheaply for ourselves trading in Euros not dollars - I wonder how hard that’ll hit the American economy? Next up we’ll sweet-talk some of the oil producing Arab nations into trading barrels of oil in Euro’s too - hard to see America recovering from that any time soon when you take into account how much those acts will destabalise the US economy.

Who knows, in 50 years time you can also expect to see EU backed ‘democratic’ elections in some of those south american countries - all designed to keep the powerbase in check of course. Then there’s Asia, we’ll get a foothold over there again also - expect to see M$ driven computing currently dominant in that part of the world get eroded as ther EU’s offer ‘open’ computing platforms based on things such as Linux - again, another means of economoically damaging an important part of the US economy and it’s ability to influence people’s daily lives.

BTW, do you get a big-bag-of-f*cking-gay to go with the box of wanker?

*edit Erroll, I didn’t light the fire mate, I’m born English and that’s that tbh. I kind of inherited this world by the actions of others who came before me so it’s not a case of being arrogant.

It’s nonsense to talk about the ‘English’ as a race anyways - you must be talking about bases of power - we’re a mix of Celt, Pict, Angle, Saxon, Viking etc, etc anyways so it only makes a difference when you talk about someone who wields power over others. Well let me tell you, if you think that somehow the English ‘serfs’ or ‘working classes’ were in anyway benefitting from the wars and rivalry that has existed between our countries over the last few hundred years, you’d be wrong.

I fear these little festivals of dick-waving stumble on without end no matter how much we adore patisserie.
Game’s over, a brand new dawn beckons.
