"Make a comp team. So easy. "
I’m not PGM, I’m just playing the game as others and shuffle is just a pain, it kill the game spirit and make it worse. Now if SD prefer to get levels 5 rather than levels 15-30… I can quit too. As those lvl 5 will quit when they’ll reach level 15.
Make the balance work

Don’t tell people not to play together just because you want an easy, relaxing match
Odd, most of the time due to unbalanced teams one team has an easy and relaxing match. Hell they even go “ez” in chat.
Honestly if your worst player on your team doubles the score of their best player, something is wrong.

Even though you’re right, nobody here will agree with you.
The vote shuffle is only used by mentally weak people who would prefer to be carried rather than even attempt to fight back.
In 10+ years of FPS games I’ve never ever wanted to be switched to the winning team for an easy ride, that’s just a pathetic, loser mentality.
Hide levels, remove the vote shuffle feature, give a larger incentive to finish the match - or, maybe, get better at the game. As you said, we all started at lvl 1 and got our ass kicked, the difference is that some people like a challenge and can learn from superior opposition and some people like to take the easy road and don’t like to be challenged at all.
What do people learn from being spawncamped?
Pain. Misery. etc. etc. etc.

Lots. Mostly the feeling of how bad it is to be spawn camped, and the motivation that gives you to not let it happen again.
I’ll say it again, we all started at lvl 1, it’s just that some of us take the ass whooping and use it to get better, while some call the vote shuffle because they’re pathetic.
AND SINCE THEY’RE BRINGING IN SUPPORT FOR PARTIES / GROUP PLAY THIS YEAR THE ‘PROBLEM’ OF UNBALANCED TEAMS IS GOING TO GET WORSE ANYWAY.
If i join a game and we are getting spawn camped, i leave.
If the opposite team completes first objective in the first min and vote fails, i leave.
If i join a game and the opposite team has about 2x the amount of points of my team, i leave.
I have no shame.
But yea, in all seriousness, there are things that the voting system could probably be tweaked a bit in which I am sure will come about in the future if needed. However, saying that we should remove the vote system altogether is a bit drastic.
Removing the vote to shuffle feature would be a bit drastic, don’t you think?
I don’t think there is really any problem with Shuffle Voting, even when spammed. Ive been shuffled a dozen or so times and while a lot of the times it can be frustrating, many times it’s actually been helpful to making the game more interesting. Granted I tend to be the player that is very open to changing sides if one team is very clearly stacked or have more people on it.
I think the mentality behind the argument that people are voting to shuffling simply because they don’t want to get better is condescending and absurd, not to mention disrespectful to the community itself.
I’m not sure what the big problem is either way, a grand majority of the time i don’t even notice vote calls. I feel though, if they were to improve this function they could add some limitation to it. Such as the vote cooldown as previously suggested or shuffles only being allowed until mid game in stopwatch, or possibly only at mid game on stopwatch.
I thought this thread would die out in a night but holy quacamole in a cheesy nutburger you sure just keep up with it @Begin2013 despite getting bashed by pointing out your lack of logic and evidence based arguements rather than going with the gut-feel of 1 person and his couple of fellas.
Gotta admit I must credit you for the persistence. Summoning @RazielWarmonic , please just let out what is the state of shuffle vote and this debate will be over for Cthulhu’s and his tentacly minion’s sake.
Seriously, it’s the only slight measure we have against the horrible matchmaking of DB.
And please tell me, how can a bar in the corner, that only fills out a very small piece of the screen, annoy you enough to make a thread here demanding it be removed right this moment.
Yes remove it. Shuffle votes brings nothing good to the game.
Giving too much power to the plebs is always a bad thing. Most people can´t even tell when a match is perfectly balanced anyway. I had perfectly balanced Stopwatch games on Terminal when either of the team could break the first objective. In these games, shuffle votes were cast over 10 times.

Oh wow this one takes the cake.
How has he been ‘bashed by pointing out your lack of logic and evidence based arguements’?
By you and a couple of other brain surgeons saying ‘NO’?
Okay Kramer.
Oh, and what’s a ‘tentacly’ minion?
Getting stomped means people play TDM? What?
No team-play, no objective, is like TDM.
DB has less players because of the shuffle system? :
For players around me that’s one of the reasons yes.

Ehm… how are you going to get new people to join the community if they have unbalanced matches? I mean, I don’t think a lot of people like it when there is no balance whatsoever in a game. If they get screwed over multiple times (let’s say until they are level 8 or 10) do you really think they want to keep playing the game?
I don’t get these complaints about the “vote to shuffle” tbh. It’s not like they are succesful a lot of the time. So what’s your problem then? That a tiny bar pops up that you can easily ignore if you want? If that’s the case then I must say that you are easily irritated by a very small thing…
Honestly if you look at it, I would actually say the complete opposite of what you are saying. The community isn’t that big because new players start this game and find a lot of unbalanced matches => resulting in new players getting frustrated and stop with playing before they reach lvl 8.
In fact the balance system should be improved a lot by SD, if they want to attract extra players to their game. Starting out in an unbalanced environment leads to more new people leaving the game.
It’s as simple as that.

@uWotm8-AU You’re really productive here calling people who don’t think like you mental weak, i.e retarded. 10/10 job.
Mentally weak doesn’t mean retarted Einstein.
I’d HATE to have any of you who disagreed with my earlier post alongside me on a footy field.
Opposition scores a try? Can we swap teams pwease?
Absolutely pathetic.

I think that hate is mutual…

You’d hate to line up alongside somebody who will fight till the end no matter what and not give in?
Of course you do, if the situation ever got that bad you’d just vote to shuffle teams for EZ win.

No, I’d hate to line up with someone who doesn’t have any sense of reality… and likes to call other people out for what they think… B)
I simply want a person who calls a vote not be able to call a vote again, if it fails, for the duration of the map. Other players on the server can still call for it but not that player. Because many matches these days has one person who will call a shuffle over and over again and then be all upset over balance. And many times it’s somebody spamming near the end of a match they think they are going to lose. You can’t really stop people from calling a vote near the end but there can be a limit placed on the spam.
I wouldn’t mind if SD kept track of vote casting and if you constantly called votes it would put you on a vote CD that persisted through games/sessions.
So me having an opinion that you don’t agree with = no sense of reality?
Please stop calling me out for what I think, my internet feelings can only take so much. (See what I did there?)
