Alright, let’s say I join a public server, and Amerika, ostmusis, and Wolvie (If you don’t know these guys, they are all very good players) are on one team, with the rest of their team being me and 2 level 30’s and the other team is all level 5 or lower and they are getting spawncamped. Wouldn’t a shuffle vote be nice here? And sure, this is an extreme scenario, but the principle is the same.
Make the balance work
RyePanda: “getting stomped will only give players an inclination to play something else.”. And maybe they should? If you wants to play Call of Duty, just go play Call of Duty… There is TDM. In my case, I got stomped at lvl 1, then been better, and now wants to play something else because the original spirit of the game is away. Just another FPS game.
And about your last post : If my aunt has balls, it would be my uncle…
DB has less players every day. Then do you really think the current way is good? When my friends quit the game because the team-play side is totally away, I just post one of the reason here…
Nexon has servers on Europa? :o
You must have some high ping man.
Well, they beat every space agency, nice job guys.

Space jokes 10/10.

Alright, firstly, your idea that shuffle votes cause a lack of teamplay is completely unfounded and lacking any evidence or reasoning.
Secondly, about my last post, your retort does not apply to this situation. The shuffle vote is meant to balance unbalanced games. I gave you an example of an unbalanced game and you responded with: “And about your last post : If my aunt has balls, it would be my uncle…” Now, if you could explain the meaning behind that and how it pertains to the current subject I would appreciate it.
Thirdly, “‘getting stomped will only give players an inclination to play something else.’. And maybe they should?” This part also baffles me. You say that because a new player gets owned by a more experienced player that they should play CoD? Not really sure where you’re going there.
Excessive vote spam should result in a cooldown for the server or just a kick.
RyePanda: “You say that because a new player gets owned by a more experienced player that they should play CoD?”. No, I started at lvl 1 (and got owned) but continued. But if someone can’t continue to play without “shuffle”, then maybe he should play something else yes. Or continue as us. But shuffle is totally useless in his case and boring for everyone.
This please
Also please have the votes openly broadcast who started the vote, instead of leaving them anonymous. Yes, I know you can find out who the person is by opening console, but this helps everyone in the server identify who’s the player constantly voting for shuffles every 3 minutes
Even though you’re right, nobody here will agree with you.
The vote shuffle is only used by mentally weak people who would prefer to be carried rather than even attempt to fight back.
In 10+ years of FPS games I’ve never ever wanted to be switched to the winning team for an easy ride, that’s just a pathetic, loser mentality.
Hide levels, remove the vote shuffle feature, give a larger incentive to finish the match - or, maybe, get better at the game. As you said, we all started at lvl 1 and got our ass kicked, the difference is that some people like a challenge and can learn from superior opposition and some people like to take the easy road and don’t like to be challenged at all.
Personally I think stomps are boring, and if it takes a shuffle to make a close game, I’m all for it.
@Begin2013 if you could respond to my previous post it may help others and myself see your logic.

What do people learn from being spawncamped?
RyePanda : "What do people learn from being spawncamped? "
A lot! In Terminal I learned that the tunnel MUST stay open to avoid spawn kill! (or use Fantom to escape?).
I know Bridge is unbalanced for attackers, then need to rush at beginning.
The room in Chapel is very important at 2nd objective.
And lot of more things that make me a lot better today than when I was level 1 and stomp in that cases… “shuffle” won’t help to learn all that kind of things! (by the way, some level 8-10 guys are already very good at trick jumps and other things… sometimes a lot more than me, then lvl isn’t everything).
Now if you still think “shuffle vote” helped : Dirty Bomb - Steam Charts. I see no benefit… But maybe I’ll be the next leaver.

Those are some things mashed together. They don’t relate in any way.
Getting stomped means people play TDM? What?
Aunt with balls? The fuck?
DB has less players because of the shuffle system?
Come on. Don’t pull something out your nose and hope it will help your POV in any way. It doesn’t.
And sorry, but I heavily dislike the thoughts you have about newbs.
“Newbs need to get shit on so they learn something”
I’ve yet seen a newb who enjoyed getting fucked by a more skilled player over and over again and learned much from it. There’s a reason humans have Kindergardens, primary schools, middle schools and so on. Literally everything on our planet works this way. And if you think in a game newbs shouldn’t start in a good enviroment, you’re plain wrong.
P.S. Because you enjoyed getting shit on as a level 1 and you wasn’t smart enough to get any form of balance doesn’t mean everyone else should have the same start.

@Begin2013 The fact that there is a slow decline of players shows absolutely no proof that a shuffle vote caused this.
Getting stomped means people play TDM? What?
No team-play, no objective, is like TDM.
DB has less players because of the shuffle system? :
For players around me that’s one of the reasons yes.
And for the rest, yes you’ll learn more to play against Kasparov at chess than against your sister… That’s the idea (and I’m not the DB Kasparov , so remove then sh*ty shuffle).

Every game with team play can have a lack of it. You have still not clarified the reasoning for your claim that a shuffle vote leads to a lack of teamplay.
I clarified the fact I’m bored to have 5 shuffles votes in every match I (we) play. Even in 10+ servers. Newbies have max 5 servers. Lvl 10+ should be able to play without crying.
But uWotm8-AU did the best abstract.

Bored of shuffles? Don’t stomp with friends in pub. Make a comp team. So easy.
Don’t like getting stomped by friends? Fight back or leave the server
Don’t tell people not to play together just because you want an easy, relaxing match
(and yes with our wormhole we have good ping… ^^)
