My irritation favorites:

  1. Jump in front of your panzerfausting buddy everytime he fires and file a complaint.
  2. Keybind the nice series of: Revive me, Heal me, Need a medic. Spam as much as possible. You don’t need to be wounded. It’s even better if you’re not. And attract the medic.
  3. Be a field op. throw airstrikes. On your mates. Bind Sorry to a key. Use it a lot.
  4. Be a happy fragger during warm up. Then after the time has come just keep shooting under the motto " I didn’t know it was for real" .
  5. Always file a complaint.
  6. Play capture the flag with mines. Hey, if it was dangerous they wouldn’t have made those flags incredibly luring!
  7. Always inspect engineers when they are placing mines by standing in front of them on those nice boxes they just placed. Then wander off. They’ll love you for it when they fly by.
  8. Always shoot opponent uniforms. If a big red cross comes up: Don’t be fooled. If that guy was on your side he would be wearing a proper uniform. Not such a sissy one.
  9. BBQ anyone with the flamethrower. Never excuse, I mean come on: when was the last time someone excused for BBQ’ing something on a party?

These will make your buddies annoyed. Guaranteed :slight_smile:

If you really wanna piss a Med off…Complain every time he does a tk revive on you then chase him down and TKO him.

I got very angry last night cuz some unedgimicated smuck felt i was screwing him over tk reviving him…

Another good tactic is when the allies are escaping with the gold on gold rush,An axis field opp that just spawned with you and 5 to 10 other guys finds it necessary to air strike the truck when your all fighting around it,resulting in a mass team execution

And if you really wanna piss people off chose your class as a soldier with a SMG…

I understand why you don’t like this, but it’s actually more logical than you think, considering 95% of the field ops seem to “conveniantly forget” that they also have ammo packs and not just the air strike.

In other words, ammo packs are more rare than an african monkey in drag trying to hotwire your car. As a soldier with SMG you get more ammo than the others, thus having an advantage…

I thought of another one: choose the last map of a close campaign as the time you’re finally going to teach yourself the mortar. Laugh as your teammates yell at you: “WTF! Mortar? Go engie and fix the fucking truck, asshole!”

One of the more annoying things you can do, in my opinion, is running over a teammate engineer’s mines, especially when done in the same spot more than once, and then filing a complaint. Better yet, is when some idiot seems to line up so that he takes out as many as possible in one run. Come on, those flags are not that hard to see, and after a few rounds in each map it should be pretty obvious where the mines are going to be at. Sure, sometimes the mines are a bit tough to get around, of course, if it was easy to get around them, the enemy would probably be able to do so as well. Just a little bit of a jump at an angle, that’s all I’m asking for.

Also, I can’t count the number of times I have heard the whole truck repaired on goldrush before the gold is in the truck. To those engineers that feel the need to XP whore in this way, give up on the #$%#ing truck until the gold is in it. All you are doing is wasting time and telling the enemy where you are at. Get in the bank, dump a rifle gernade on the MG soldiers inside and go for the gold, once both crates are secure, or nearly so, then fix the truck. Remeber it takes you a few seconds to repair the truck, it only takes an axis field op one button click to dump an airstrike on the truck and disable it again.

Next item, Covert Ops who file at the slightest thing. I realize that when you are in an enemy uniform with only 10 HP left and one of your teammates drops you, it sucks. But don’t be a @$$ and file. Simple fact is, most of the times people are just reacting to the uniform and manage to get a round or two off before they see the big red no sign. In a lot of firefights getting the first shots off can make a huge difference. Now, if the idiot keeps firing at you, ya go for it, file. But always remember, until their crosshairs have been on you for a second you look just like an enemy, and if you are charging an MG in a roughly threatening manner, you are probably going to get to play catch with a few reactionary rounds.

Sniping, if headshots did, in fact, drop a person with one shot then I wouldn’t mind so much, but usually the Covert Ops would be much more useful spotting mines, letting an engineer through a teamdoor, destroying CP’s, or even fighting up front. Yes, sniping may seem like a cool thing, but usually its utterly $#@%ing useless.

Lastly, random TK’ers. and/or TK’ers who TK just so they can complete an objective. This one really burns my hide. Had this happen a while back, don’t remember the server name, but the $%#@hole admin on it did two things that just pissed me off to no end. First, any time he started having difficulty facing an enemy he would kick them. Second, and the one that finally got me to go elsewhere: On radar, I had the last radar part, was running back and had made it to the main entrance, with basically no pursuit and enough of my health to make it, and the damn guy decides to kill me, just so that he can grab the radar parts and put them on the truck himself. In about four steps I would have made it there, but this guy just had to be a glory hound. If I had been taken down by an enemy and he picked the parts and finished the run, I would have appluaded him, but to TK me just to do it himslef pissed me off. Once we got to the between map screen, I went ahead and asked him what he was thinking, in rather harsh terms, and his response was to kick me. Which really just saved me the trouble of disconnecting to find a server without some 2 year old for an admin. :angry:
And the random TK’er from last night G!$M0 I think it was, or something close. Twice the guy just decided to gun me down for no apparent reason. There were no enemies around, and no seeming need to be firing. The first time he did it, he shot me in the back just after we spawned. At the time I assumed that it was a mistake, a really dumb one, but a mistake. The second time, we were on fuel deopt, I’m in the tank, comming out if the tunnel, this idiot is riding on the front of the tank, he turns around, looks at me for a moment, then opens up and blasts me out of the tank gun. I spent the rest of the game making sure I always knew where he was. I really hate people that just decided it would be fun to start TK’ing. A stray round here and there, especially in a tight quarters firefight, bad timing on a gernade and/or airstrike I can take, but a concious decision to TK just gets to me.

Wrong. A fieldops with an SMG gets more ammo than anyone else. Approximately 43157 more bullets, the last time I counted.

The only reason I’ve found to play an SMG soldier is on a server with heavy weapons restricted. If you need a Panzer to break a defense but the only one on your team was taken by a newless cluebie, then you can at least follow him around and wait to grab the PF when he dies.

(Whether or not his death is from enemy fire or a TK is up to you!)

As a medic or field op, use your scroll wheel (instead of a bound key) and cycle through your weapons five times before you drop the med or ammo pack.

Throw med packs on downed players waiting for an injection. Or stand over their body and keep poking yourself with adrenalin. =)

Ahahaha, that is evil! In addition, use your mouse wheel to scroll through the weapons, but do it very slowly. And on top of that, when you hit the needle, pass it and pull out the medpacks like you suggested.

or to be a real git, just replant your mines where he had his, so you get the kills…

Or if you’ve planted dyno at a satchel objective, and you see a covert teammate come along and throw a satchel charge on it, KILL HIM QUICK! the XP you’ll lose from a complaint is less than the XP you’ll lose not blowing the objective yourself :slight_smile:

hehe what i also like 2 do as axis (pure fun, ff must be off for this),
when axis are near the back entrance on that higher slope shooting down (shooting 2 the second spawn for the allies)
i like 2 throw a grenade near there feet so they fall 2 death, because off the high slope and the grenade pushing the upwards its like launching a mortar only this time its a team8 :blah:
