I was just kicked several times for violation of “Game Integrity”. I have not modifed anything, and also several other player were kicked for the same reason.
Have the PB folks agreed to supply PB to ET on the promise that they may use the ET community as guinea pigs? That’s what I’m starting to suspect anyway.
Ahh yes. I have had this happen to me twice in the last 10 minutes and it is starting to get annoying. That and all the other shit that punk buster keeps kicking me for. Like you, I haven’t modified anything.
My friend who stayed in the last game, said that all but three people on his team got kicked for this shit.
It’s happening on all my servers. PB just released new version again and this is what is causing it.
yes this is a really nice FEATURE of PB ! In my last game the whole Allied Team was kicked and the axis won ! Not having any experience with this kind of tools I thought PB would be one of the best. But now … I think I’ve nothing to add.
So it went from kicking everyone in the server for some goofy ass reason to kicking everyone in the server for another?
i just managed to get on a server for maybe 30 secs, and during that time i saw the punkbuster kicking message 5 times all the error 20005 code if thats helpful…truly sucks
Happened to me too,
started on our server maybe half an hour ago.
Only happened to the Allied team,
everyone who joined Allied suddenly got kicked after a few seconds in the team.
Don’t know if this helps, but I use the PBWEB updater within the PB folder (routinely) and I didn’t get kicked. I had to keep switching servers because I was the only one on.
Why would Even Balance create an error in Punkbuster to make people join Splash Damage’s forums??? To those who are having issues with punkbuster try Even Balance’s site for answers and their forums.
I had this error too and updated PB manually using PBWEB. Follow the instructions at the download page.
Evenbalance doesn’t have forums anymore because they are too damn good to make any mistakes that would need forums for users to seek support.

They don’t have forums because if iD or Activision saw how many people complained about PB, something would change.
Get used to it. Evenbalance does not do any quality testing before releasing new versions. They have not and will not do any real testing to see if the updated versions actually work, you my friends, are their QA department.
And for me it usually takes half an hour or more for PB to update in-game. So those of you lagging horribly when starting a new game, try updating PB manually from the Evenbalance site. It usually removes all the lag like magic.
