Keeping your sigs under the radar

800 KB is fairly large… Maybe you should fix this?

Just curious why my avatar disappeared. I know this isn’t sig related but it’s the closest topic to it. Besides, we need page 7 to exist so I’m doing my part in “the cause.”

Do you now need X posts before your allowed an avatar? I checked my profile and the link just isn’t there now.

If I remeber correctly you had this annoying video as an avatar of a man beeing executed on an electric chair… for one I guess you Avatar was simply to ‘noisy’ as in distracting, rule of thimb: no animations.

Second, read the rules for your avatar again: “Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB.” Your avatar was certainly bigger than 6KB.

Who ever runs this forums here, should think about upgrading the phpBB to include a simple mod that controls the size of the avatar. In the ACP you can put in a set size so people wont exceed what there requirements. The one I am using took about 15 min to edit and install and works perfectally.

I decided to prepare myself for Tapir Wars with this one.

It changes appearance depending on the background.

Sorry for the double-post (I swear I never normally do) but I wanted to show how the sigs change depending on the background color.

Also my sig and avatar are under 4KB together. I think I’m flying as low as possible. 8)

How does it do that? does it work on any colour or just the splashdamage colours?
