He he he, yes Etnies, I’m running a server and no it is not always empty. It is a 2.60 version with no mod ( no etpro ).

Etnies, last time I checked 5 of the top 8 servers (as far as popularity) if not more, were running customs. I’m not suprised due to the fact that you can find over 200 servers running the least popular map from the original six. Why would anybody want to come to your server? What makes it so special? You have to set yourself apart from the thousands of other servers out there. Playing six standard maps and a handful of competition customs gets old real fast.
Those who don’t play customs are missing out.

And anyway if his server stands out from the rest and its ‘better’ to run customs why does he have to make its own topic on the splash damage fourms? siggys are different. /rantover

Ummm I wouldn’t consider my self a “N00b” been playing ET since it came out… I spent a total of 1 month, that’s 3 weeks, on pro servers didn’t like the “type” of people I found on them and went back to one of the first mods… s…h…r…u…b what’s that spell… shrub, and you my friend are the perfect example of some of the people I met on pro servers. Always get tweaked at the sight of someone actually having fun, did I just say fun? Because they aren’t all worked up about my kill rate and my accuracy and what rank am I on the server, what ladder am I in? So the hit boxes are fooked and the garand don’t reload and there aren’t hit sounds and panzers (gasp) are rampant and rifle nades zoom across the map people take unis and complete the objective ( wait take a uni and complete the objective… nah) Its a game not a job, geezz. Take some deep breaths close your eyes and exhale, feel better?

I have never played on a shrub server. I have nothing against it since I don’t know what kind of mod it is. I just wanted to know which maps Higgins had on his server. It is allways good to have variation.

The server is not always empty, it is a UK server so if your out side our day light hours then it will be empty. Every one will be sleeping who plays :P.
