The vast majority of regular troops were male, but that doesn’t mean there were no women in combat. The various resistance movements used anyone they could, and the Soviet army employed women as snipers in the regular army (and also combat pilots in the air force.)

That said, all the models in ET look quite male so it’d be a bit funny to give them female obituaries.

Ah well, I only knew what I learned through Discovery and the very little schooling I had.

On the “Very male models”, Quake 3 Fortress had 100% male models but you had the ability to make your obituaries.

Makes one of the VGCats comics spring to mind though. “HAY A GRL! LETS CYBER!”.

In irl, they never got to respawn.

true, it’s always a good idea to have some breasts on the battlefield to motivate the troops. but the breasts have to be invisible to the enemy soldiers, otherwise they can profit…

with the covert you can steal the uniforms anyway…

You had that in one of the wegein mod versions, that a covert ops could steal the uniform of a female fighter (early version had nude female body later with lingerie I believe) ^^
Was a funny mod, too bad it’s gone.
