Hi everyone,

I started playing shooters with (probably) Doom as a teen (old dood in his 30s now).
I played a lot of the original TF, CS, and Tribes. Also, played a ton of Goldeneye. Tried the game again in recent years and found my hands couldn’t recognize the controls.
(I’m not a big fan of console shooters/controls.)

I also loved Games Workshop stuff, D&D, board games and especially Magic the Gathering as a teen. It’s hard to play those games now, but I have been trying to get back into MtG.

Nice to meet everyone! Really excited about our partnership with SD on Extraction. I promise we’ll do our best to make it awesome!

See you in-game!

Cheers,
Min

(Seanza) #403

I’m holding you to that, Min. And I’ve got a good grip.

Greetings everyone,

My name is Gabriel David, but I’m better known in gaming circles as Warwitch. I started my E-Sports career in 1999, and worked for many years with the Team Sportscast Network. I retired in 2005 after the CPL World Finals, making a return in November of 2012 to form WarwitchTV on Twitch. I’ve been excited about Dirty Bomb for quite some time and I’m anxious to get my hands on it.

Obviously, as per the NDA, my lips will be sealed ONAIR. But I hope to share a great deal of constructive thoughts and ideas here in the days to come.

I look forward to meeting everyone in game,

Gabriel “Warwitch” David

Hello, my name is Joe! I’ve been around for a little over a month but never got around to introducing myself. I am currently located in Washington for school where I am studying Digital Art and Animation with hopes of becoming an artist in the Gaming industry in 4 years time. I’m excited to see what this game can become!

(StasisTheDrill) #413

Hi all!

I’m Spencer and I just accepted my Alpha Invite and am looking forward to getting my hands on the game tonight after work. Been playing games in general since I got a SNES as a kid, didn’t start with PC stuff til about 3 years ago but building and playing on gaming PCs has been my primary hobby ever since. I absolutely love tactical shooters and have about 500 hours logged in Blacklight Retribution, and about half as many in BLOPS II and MW3. I’ve been craving to get my hands on something new so I’m extremely excited to give DB(extraction?) a shot.

Also, I am a Software Test Engineer by trade and make a living testing software so I hope i can provide the dev team with a lot of good feedback.

Cheers!

Hi there,

My names Ross, I’m 25 and I reside in sunny England! I’ve been online gaming since around 2002/2003.
I started out with PSO on the Dreamcast but eventually found my niche in FPS games on the PC.
I’ve played most of them in team/clan setups because I prefer the social and competitive aspect that it brings.

Although I played RTCW and ET a lot my main love for many years was Counter-Strike. I played from version 1.3 to Source,
and in Source I was at roughly the “top” level in Europe playing for a team which was sponsored by a UK company called Ebuyer.

I tried to give Wolfenstein (2009) and Brink a go when they were released as I love stopwatch as a game mode. Played in a few of the ESL cups each had
but the communities never really got going and my PC at the time didn’t run either very well.

I’m feeling positive about Extraction after what I saw from PAX and I’m excited to be part of the Closed Alpha.

See ya in game!

Just wanted to say hi to this section of the forums.

I saw Extraction at PAX and was super impressed right away; it was the game of the show for me. After spending a couple days recovering from the PAX plague and thinking about it, I just pulled the trigger on the Legendary Pack. Excited to sink in and help where I can.

(mortis) #416

Well hello Mr. Fancy Pants!

Saw your posts on the public forum and you seemed quite keen to play. Thats the sort of player we really need on the alpha someone who is going to put the time in and give quality feedback and stir up a nice discussion. Welcome on board, be sure to check out the competitive forums where we orginise draft style matches quite often. Add me on Steam if you wan to be added to the evaczone steam group where we try get matches going quite often.

See you around.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I jumped in last night and played for a few hours and started to really get a feel for the game and learn the maps. Started taking some notes, but I’d like to settle in a little more before I really dive into the feedback.

Hello plz, saw some videos from PAX about this game, and had to pull the trigger on the founders pack. Excited to be part of this, could be rather epic. Also got one of my teammates to get a founders pack as well. Hopefully we can get a few more in and try and jump start the NA scene a bit. Looking forward to playing with you all.

(alphabeta) #420

Hi all. Long time ETQW player. One of several PV Clan members to get the Alpha. Hoping I can help shape the game in a small way.
