Hey folks, just got my access :3
I’m a '92 baby and I’ve been gaming for two thirds of my life, starting with an early EA Playstation title called “Auto Destruct”. Didn’t really get into multiplayer FPS titles until my late teens; my angst was rather delayed and I was a total study freak. I first came across DB when a friend in a ludology course showed me the trailer for ECHO. I’m a hobbyist developer myself, with 11 years of C++/C# under my belt, so I feel that ECHO is a great idea. Few titles actually utilize anything like it - even in the AAA market - and I’ve even started utilizing the same concept for my own projects. Being able to evaluate when something is wrong is only part of fixing it, the rest is the “why”.
I was one of the folks that adored Brink, despite its’ limitations and minor issues. I’m using the Veteran pack at the moment, but I’ll definitely be upgrading it if I enjoy it. Good luck, team
