Hello everyone,

My name is Nanimo and I’m an alcoholic.

Ok, let’s retry joke aside: My nick is Nanimo (also known as Killarg in my youth), I’m a 27year old Belgian living and working in California. :slight_smile:

I’ve been a game addict most of my life. My first encounter with a computer was my father showing me how to play gorillas.bas on his oversized laptop in the nineties and him yelling at me when I “broke the family computer by installing wing commander on it”. Happy times.

Always had a soft spot for shooters. From doom to duke knuckem, followed by quake, half life, counter strike and so on; I guess most of the people from this forum walked down that same path. :slight_smile: Objective based FPS have always been my favorites. I therefore played a lot of ET and such. I played competition ETQW from closed beta until release, when my game time was starting to get consumed by my IRL time. Won a few ETQW lan in France.
More “recently” I played Brink and some other shooters as BF and such, but have less and less time to play unfortunately.

Just joined here after my pal MrFunkyFunk baited me into buying the pack (damn you, making me spend mah money)!

I played a bit the game and I really like what I’m seeing so far, probably because it brings back the old “ETseries” feelings that I find other games lacking.
But this is a brand new game and I suppose we don’t want just an oldgame feeling but also something fresh. I’ll try to participate as best as I can (with my limited time for gaming) in this closed alpha stage, hoping to bring structured feedback and criticism and do my little part in developing the community.

I’m really looking forward the development of DB and seeing you guys in game!

Yes for sure !
but most of them don’t have access to the alpha.
we try to make a line up with some people in the alpha for the moment, not easy.
so we hope some Elite access soon to be able to have a real line up.
