Here is YET another VIDEO

(crumblycake) #1

Well, here’s another one on you tube, it’s 40 seconds short. If you listen closely you can here some say, “It’s a inaudible copy of BF”. HA! I guess he has never played ET. Then he says something about the menu screen and that you can, “pick sopts on the map where you want to respawn”. I guess that’s why, according to him, QW is a copy of BF? From the looks of it he never even tries to play QW…shame on you

Here it is:

(Shanks) #2

“Looks like an exact copy of battlefield”
Silly bf2 players!

(Redh3lix) #3

Doesn’t look anything like BF2 :???: and I still don’t understand why people still say that. I think the only reason they do it because it has vehicles.

If anything, ET:QW shares more of a likeness to Halo imo. Although much better.

(EB) #4

omg, a video game that is almost like other video games and in that I mean…it’s a video game.

OMG dude, we play BF2 on a computer too…so this must be the exact same thing.
OMG !

OMG, I can pick a spawn point on a map ? bf# and QW and everything with maps and spawns must’ve been copied from that super NES donkey-kong game !

OMG, you can use something to make you stronger for a short time ? …that’s just like that Mario brothers game or better yet !!!..PAC MAN.

…I am done insulting the intelligence of the kid in that video.

…Thank you
Thank you :bows:

(SniperSteve) #5

I want to smack that kid one…

This is a problem though. I wonder how the devs are going to bring out the uniqueness of ET:QW.

(Joe999) #6

imo the “candle quake war” vid which is on the same website is more interesting than the one above:

(Fab) #7

Haha wat a tard.

EDIT: just made this, they do look similar but the QW screen looks alot better imo.

(Salvation) #8

regardless if some stuff look “a-like”, please do notice:

Game: Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PC)
Release Date: Nov 20, 2001

Game: Battlefield 1942 (PC)
Release Date: Sep 10, 2002

limbo menu probably dates even earlier than RTCW vanilla

(figvam) #9

Is the below zero video quality of these videos because of YouTube downsizing them to shrink in the tiny dimensions of its video applet?
or were they taken with some crappy phone cameras?

(eiM) #10

i think it was taken by “some crappy phone camera” because it’s only 40seconds long but i’m not sure…

(madness) #11

lol you could select spawnpoints on map even in W:ET
Maybe BF2 copied wolf then ?

(crumblycake) #12

Affirmative!

(!ntraxz) #13

Hi all!

i just can’t understand people think ea games comes with new stuff :S everything in the recent games from ea games is just copied from other games. they just add some new graphics, another story and sometimes a little tiny bit of new gameplay.

:drink:
btw,
i’m not new here, i have just another account

(Fab) #14

Who doesnt tho :stuck_out_tongue:

(!ntraxz) #15

do what?

be new here or copy and past games together? :stuck_out_tongue:

(carnage) #16

imo the “candle quake war” vid which is on the same website is more interesting than the one above:

holy crap… had to watch it twise to make sure they were actuly shooting at each other. looks kinda fun in a mad kind way

(datoo) #17

Hahaha… that’s the worst video so far. What’s with the hate?

Oh and btw, people always forget about Codename Eagle, the first “battlefield” game. It came out before ET.

(Schizma) #18

(sarcasm)

WOW ET:QW DID COPY BF2, I mean if you really look at it, in BF2 they shoot guns and in ET:QW they shoot guns! In BF2 you can choose where you spawn and in ET:QW you can choose where you spawn! And BF2 is FPS, OMG ET:QW IS FPS TOO! ITS JUST A RESKINNED BF2!

(sarcasm)
