Please explain your problem more clearly. Do you have a problem with the server info (the text on the right), the map picture featuring a mosque or map you see in the background?

FWIW, I think that anyone who has religious/cultural issues with playing any given map (including MML_Church, Breakout (has a church in it, etc) should vote with their feet and disconnect from the server. This is the most effective way of showing that a given map is not desired and therefore motivate the server admin to remove it.

As much as I would like to comply, I lost most of my source files in a HD crash and can’t edit the map any more. I think you’ll have to pursue your case with the admin of that particular server. The website or e-mail of the server is probably somewhere on one of the loading screens. Alternatively, join the server (not when Byzantine is running) and ask one of the regulars who the server admin is and how to contact him. A third alternative is to join when the map is in-progress and try to make your case with the server crowd that’s playing. I’m sure that if you make a logical plea for understanding, they’ll accomodate you.
Over here churches were raided or destroyed during WW2. This probably made us more ignorant to what is “holy” and should not be touched upon.
I respect your beliefs, but the “damage” is irreversible. This map exists for more than 3 years now and is spread out all over the world. As most know, it’s impossible to wipe something from the Internet by force, you can only try to get something forgotten about. (For as far that would be possible.)
My advice: show your depreciation as Ifurita said by leaving the server which runs it, say no to any competition playing it, or what means you deem necessary to make it clear that you think this map should not be played for religious means.
However, I would hold back in any way to start more commotion about it as nobody would benefit from this.

As much as I would like to help, there is nothing I can do about it. I don’t even play ET anymore much less keep track of who’s downloaded or is running the map. There are also other maps out there with minarets and mosques too.

For what it’s worth, you might think about what you can do materially about this. I can’t edit the map, I can’t control who runs the map … the the best option is to go after the server admin who run the map in their rotations.
