Help me.. Medics too strong

(Doc_A) #41

If you could learn to shoot straight then you could take one down in half a clip. They really are not as strong as you make out.

Hmmm… if i could shoot straight… Every time I’m a medic I get accused of
cheating on our own server. Hell they’ve tried to vote me off many times
after I’ve taken out 4-5 guys in one brief squirmish. “what the hell you
running… they say… or Cheater…” Why is this possible?

Cause I’m a friggin bullet sponge medic. You try to explain that to people
and they just don’t get it.

It works both ways, m8… But that don’t make it right.

Looks like Ragnar and others are right. In order to cut down on this,
smaller campaigns are the answer. I guess I’m just disappointed that
with all the features in the game, the possibility to tweak the character
classes more is not possible…

But hey… what do you want for free??

… But hey… what do you want for free??

That is a pretty lame statement and I have lost any motivation to help you find a solution … and I’m pretty sure there is one. As I recall, I paid a good chunk of change for both BF1942 and RTCW and don’t recall the ability to tweak classes or player types there.

OMG Chaos All the Way EASY
Then Eldar
Then cheapo Bloodangels
Then Tau (or how ever you spell)
Then the Hive
Then Space marines
Then imperial Guard
Then Orks
Then Pooie ultra marines

The best thing in the game=
Chaos Lord armed with
Dark Blade +2 strength
Mark slannesh
CombatDrugs (choose any of the fololowing +1 WS +1Strength +1Attack Ignores 1st wound taken)
Wings
Power armour 3+ save
Arua 5+ save

Basically in game it
Moves= 12"
Initive= Basically 6(can get 7 if needed)
Attacks= 6
Hits on 3 Kills on 2 (this is 99% of time)
And ignores 1st wound taken (basically an extra wound Every turn)
Ohh and he has a Chaos hound with him :smiley:
Who has killed upto now a Tau leader (the bald blue person) a space amrine Commander and a terminatar (and a load of UNimportant thinks like space wolf marins etc ;))

He has fought in 20 games now and only died 1 time and it was his own faul :’(

w00t!

Then Tau (or how ever you spell)
Then the Hive

Dunno about them, too recent for me I think.

I went with Chaos originally just cos they look so damn cool :slight_smile:
But the troops are actually quite good, better than regular space marines.

it seems to me that the problems you encounter are more to do with the people you play with than with any flaw in the game. Medics can be super tough but in my experience they use that extra bit of durability to run half way across a battlefield (while being shot) and stab me with their poker stick of joy. Most medics i play agianst are such good healers that i carry on shooting the enemies body until they enter limbo to insure they do not get revived.

“squirmish” is now my official favourite word. Could be used to describe a battle in which you just know you are going to get killed. Possibly in a messy way.

Sounds like something Salteh would say :chef:

I think the balances are great in this game.

and i think bullet spong medics is a bit far fetched, i mean come on, they have an extra what 35 hp, = 1 shot , and recharge at 3 hp per second, and die in 3 seconds = 9 hp = 1 shot in toe

so 3 extra rounds should cover it, woo hoo,

all above are estimates, and do not include adrenaline bonus coz its rubbish, and takes a full bar, i have only used it 3 times, and all 3 i died anyway, face it if your poo you die, if your good you dont, (excluding rifle grenade, panzer and mortar deaths :slight_smile: ) now a lvl 4 medic with a flak jacket , now thats unbalanced :smiley:

I used it on Goldrush at the bank: adrenalined myself, ran into the bank, killed 4 enemies, grabbed the gold and got it to the truck. Adrenaline is good when you have to clear out a guarded room. Just rush in and move fast. The enemies will try to shoot you, but will only do serious damage to their teamates, while you take half damage.

You don’t need adrenaline for that, a full stamina bar works just as well. It’s funny as hell when you dart between two players and they try to shoot you but hit each other, usually resulting in at least one TK. I only ever saw a double TK once… I did that middle dash thing, and one guy shot the other, but the one that died dropped a nade which killed his teammate who was standing there trying to shoot me. Comedy gold.
