Have you play against such player?

Well I played today on that map with the train thingy (dont know the maps oops) it was a 32 player server so was a bit of a kill fest, but it is so evident that there are alot of new players to ET, loads of players just stand there and shoot no movement so they are basicly easy pickings.

And going into that little room where the axis have to build something killed all 4 of them, if I took on 4 peeps say on jolt3 RTCW I would be dead within seconds.

I did pick a random server though this time, I would like to see what it is like on a good quality server though

But I suppose its a good thing bringing more people into FPS’s will take some time for people to get there skills up, certanly took me time and I still dont have many

i dunno if this works, but i set my crosshair on tiny and it increased my accuracy quite a bit. It worked for me… :moo:

^^ YES. it worked for me , when i began playing ET i made the crosshair

huge, which is stupid now that i look back because the damn screen is

already crowded as it is, then i set it to small and wow it was like i had
an aim bot( jk)!!!

Just played on a server… on Oasis first map against the [HEL] clan… (I think there’s more than one though) I went 86 and 13 as Axis with 38% accuracy and 78 headshots.

78 headshots sounds like a lot… but that’s less headshots than kills… so what do you all think? Just so so? Pretty good? Suck? Hmmm…

That’s pretty impressive. I got 38 or something a few weeks ago and I thought that was pretty good. I sware though that on a busy server all your head shots aren’t counted sometimes.

definately, I use the dot crosshair on tiny, coloured bright red so its easy to track. fire in bursts to reduce the spread, ditto for crouching. strafing and moving erratically (preferably with sprint) makes it harder for them to aim.

smooth fps, a decent net connection and fairly low sensitivity will assist anyone developing a smooth aim. still need experience though, which i have, and talent, which i dont :bored:

I use that one crosshair that has a dot and a circle around it. It’s good because the circle gets bigger if you jump around a lot and when you’re firing so you can see when you need to stop your burst. Try it.

If anybody wants I can send them my config…

It’s pretty simple, I have a key bound to switch it on the fly… for example

My field of view is set to 120 with a sensitivity of 5.5 which is excellent for close 1 on 1 battles then if there are people coming from a long distance I hit my bind and it switches to a field of view of 90, draw gun off, and a sensitivity of 3.5. So that way if they’re trying to be cute far away and strafe side to side I’ll stay with them with great ease.

Let me know if you want it… it’ll take about 20 minutes to get used to it if you’ve never had fov set higher than 90 but it works.
