School is over or almost over by then for almost everybody.

Some north american colleges finish school by then
Australians have their “winter holidays” in april

So basically the release date should be around march and april and not in the summer. I want to play the game during when I don’t have school and not have the release in july or august when I wasted my time waiting for the game.

I want to play it for 5 months not 2 months and then september school starts again.

Screw the summer release from that wierd article. Set a spring release. A great time. People have spring break, Colleges have no classes then, aussies have winter break.

Well I should have renamed the thread “What part of year is great for having the game released?” I sure don’t want it released during final exams.

I say march or april because some have spring break and some have their normal break (like in colleges) IN australia, they have their winter break.

I don’t care if it is 2007, 2008 or whatever. Another great spot is in august and december, but then again I don’t want to go through school again.

Just don’t pull off a Starcraft ghost or duke nukem forever. That’s all I want to hear.

If I were posting in the EA forums, I would WANT it to be released NOW, not in perfect release conditions of said months.

I said it is the perfect time to release the game, I DIDN’T say I want it out at that time.

Well I hope I don’t go through the same troubles as last year. I was waiting for Blizzard’s starcraft ghost for xbox and ps2 since december 05. Come end of march, they said that game is postponed to look at next gen consoles. I was like NOOOOOOOOO and that I already bought an xbox. I not only have to wait, I also have to buy a 360 while I’m at it. I still don’t regret buying the original xbox because I can play RTCW tides of war whereas 360 cannot.

I hope SD does not postpone to upgrade hardware for the game rendering my computer, which has a lot of RAM like 2048GB and an AMD athlon 64 2x dual core processor. Only problem with my comp is the lame Nvidia Geforce 7300LE. Just think of the 7300LE as the original xbox and the better video cards as the xbox 360.

Well from the replies, you act as if you never wanted the game to come out ever. I said what is a GREAT time of year, NOT when you WANT the game to come out.

I want SUGGESTED BEST release dates. NOT I want this game at this time release dates.

We don’t need a schedule as in “We don’t care if it comes out in the next century?” I don’t think so.

Releasing the game now makes the game look like crap (EA). Releasing the game later than (place what you think is the best release time here) would render it like DUKE NUKEM FOREVER.

I suggested march april 07. If it passes that date, then july, if it passes that, then december, if it passes that, then march april 08. You understand where I’m getting at?

Also what is the NEW news about the game now?

The best date is without compromises “tomorrow” :).

In fact, i dont care about game look. I’m more afraid about game-bugs. Though BF series looks great for me, but I don’t like it’s gameplay. It is about running from flag to flag or camping and defending one flag… I played BF 2142 and the titan mod is better, but BF is and will be always too buggy and laggy.
