Iā€™m afraid our only point of contact to Badman is through the forumā€™s PM system, and Iā€™ve messaged him 2 or 3 times already asking for the keys since the tournament has ended. :-/ If anyone knows how to reach him via e-mail or something, let me know and Iā€™ll try and get in touch with him through that, otherwise all we can do is wait for him before we continue distributing prizes. there was no final game with best players. i understand how hard it would be to choose players and schedule, but, it would also be awesome to have such game. even better if 12v12 vanilla. the real etqw. with all the possibilities (classes / weapons / vehicles).

getting all people together again, to play just one game ā€¦ well, it does not pay the effort. so, i would like to propose something else. something like a fast tournment.

  • 2 campaigns. choosed ramdomly: africa, pacific or north america (think its good to exclude north europe because any one of the 3 maps is too unbalanced).
  • shuffle at the start of each map. 10 min warmup to talk strategy/classes or take a break. only gold is to win the map, and in the end, admins would take screenshots to see those who won, and those who lost.
  • it would be like vanilla. xp follows from 1st map to 2nd, and to 3rd. with xp reset for the 2nd campaign.
  • in the end, admins use screenshots to provide individual results. any player would have a result from 0 to 6 (number of victories). is not expectable that someone can win (or lose) the 6 maps, so probably there would be a small group of winners (2, 3 or maybe more). even everybody drawn with 3 victories is possible (but dificult because of those shuffles).

what you guys think about this ?

This is a good idea, but Iā€™m not consigning myself or Nemesis to organizing anything until after Aristotleā€™s 6v6 quick cup is done. I know we wanted to do an all-star game, but time and real-life commitments took precedence. Weā€™ll consider doing something if we have player interest and availability (we wanted the GG Tournament to be a summer thing, but now everyoneā€™s headed back to school).
