Yeah, would be very interested in seeing what sxstrace comes out with for QWTA v0.3.3 and QWTA v0.3.4, to see the difference and find where the weirdness is creeping in. Not a huge deal anymore at least, if we can just use VS2005 sans SP1 and make sure it works that way. I might do some testing myself and see if I can spot anything weird going on. I think you can make it output a textual manifest instead of embedding it into the binary…

Basetest2 works for me as well. When I load the mod, the game restarts and presents me with the normal begin screen after that. I guess that’s what’s supposed to happen when I load it as a mod?

Yeah, you shouldn’t notice much special about it, it’s just a recompiled version of BaseETQW, after all. If you want to be sure(probably no need, since you’re not noticing an obvious crash), you can bring up the console and it’ll tell you which folder the game is copying .cfg files to.
Anyhow, just got home, gimmie a bit, and I’ll compile QWTA using VS2005 RTM and release a hotfix.
