I couldn’t care less about what rarity of cards I get for any of the characters, all I want to know is, will the founders skins ever be for sale in the near future as it is absolutely tearing me up inside that there is such a cool set of skins that nearly no one has that I’ve run into. Even if they sold this in a bundle pack I would buy it, just make it for sale and shut up and take my money!

Please do not troll or flame this post. I truly love this game, and the developers, I was a eager follower back when Brink was announced. After Brink died out, I still played on my own against the A.I. I am posting this thread because I recently saw that they had a founders pack release for this game, and after scowering the internet to find a way to purchase the founders pack I inevitably discovered it was no longer available, and never will be. I wondered why, mainly because I never heard of this game or heard of Splash Damage making another title, I was honestly holding out hope that there would be a Brink 2, but when I heard that it would never be coming I gave up on the franchise. Had I simply known about this game and about the founders pack in time, I can tell you I would’ve honestly purchased the highest level tier available as I love this game and the work they have done on previous games. Since I know that the founders pack won’t be re-released with all the bells and whistles, I just wanted to put a poll up to those of you who did purchase the founders pack. Would you be okay with them re-releasing the skins and the skins only, not the cardback, and not the status. Would you be okay if other players could purchase these skins and only have them be available as a seperate “default” loadout, meaning no augments, and no differentiation of the weapons?

I’ve bought the Fragger, Sawbones, and seriously giving thought to purchasing Arty as well. I’ve paid more than you, and I’ve also given this game a positive review. So I’ve done more than you if you wanna break it down. Ontop of that I’ve already said that if the skins come bundled, meaning all of them, I would also purchase them, even though some of them are for mercs I would never use (Vassili,Proxy).

I also purchased the most expensive edition of Brink, so my support goes well before Dirty Bomb. Did you buy Brink? No? Then don’t talk to me about my support level or why I am undeserving of the skins.

I would had most likely bought a founder’s pack too, had I known about the existance of this game, back when they were available.
Tough shit, but I think I can, just barely, continue living my life, even without these skins.
I’m sure there will be more vanity content in the future, that you can throw your shekels at.

But I don’t want to wait, and not in that asshole manner of WAH I want it now. I mean the upcoming alienware loadouts I am uninterested in, as it is just cardbacks. And if you can just barely go on living and it’s not a big deal to you that’s fine, but for others it a bit disheartening.

What’s worse is I have signed up for the newsletter and all that way back when it was in closed beta, and I never got a notification of founders packs or anything else, I didn’t even get an email that this game was going into open BETA!

Founders packs were never available during the closed beta process. It was pre/during-alpha I believe.

I think so, yes. If I had paid to get something that was intended to be exclusive and it was handed out to everybody for a price after the fact I would be unhappy and potentially regret my initial purchase. You have to admit the value they got for the packs wasn’t very close to what it cost.

Besides, I’m not a founder anyways.

I have been a founder for other games though, and several did release founders exclusives to the general population and it pissed me off. They are supposed to be something cool that is noticeable and that represents your dedication to the game. Giving that to others cheapens it significantly.
