How about the sky? Now in normal ET the sky is in a circle when we turn camera it is unrealistic… maybe you will change the camera stuff to show everything more realistic?

I downloaded from git, ET-XreaL and ET-XreaL_etmain. I compiled on 64bit linux. When I try to run I get this:

Btw you could use ag0n moviemaking config for better quality and in video card settings set your AA to AAx16 and set AF to AFx8.SOmething like this,

those screens do not really look tasty… could achieve most of that with current etpro and a proper config? Have you afteredited them, since thats what they look like (2much contrast & highlight)

Doesn´t ETpro work on ETXreal?
I havent looked on game and client code in Xreal.
But I think there are several new things.(must be:D)

That’s caused by the HDR rendering pipeline that need some adjustments, with stock settings you’ll need sunglasses.

Tested it today on oasis :tongue:

I really dont see how you can accomplish all that effects with vanilla renderer and etpro mod.
EDIT: can you show us your pictures with current etpro and proper config, so we all see here and to compare?

for anybody who want to test latest build of Xreal-ET (17.04.2011)

copy ETXreaL.exe, libmysql.dll, rendererGL.dll and renererGL3.dll inside your root ET folder, in etmain folder - mp_bin.pk3, cgame_mp_x86.dll, qagame_mp_x86.dll, ui_mp_x86.dll and xreal-et.pk3.

In profile folder you have already defined renderer settings what I use for testing Xreal-ET … You can use that profile for testing …

in loading console I have error:

Perhaps it was hyperbole. That being said though, the screenshots, while they show potential, are very rough and too shiny. This is probably because the engine needs a real artist to work with the looks of things, and because its hard to just convert the old ET textures into new ones.

Usually HDR rendering requires scene dependent settings. I would suggest to just turn it off which is the default. BTW XreaL-ET is not ET-XreaL and Dushan I would rather see that you rename it to ET-XreaL++ or something.
I don’t want the official ET-XreaL builds to be confused with your project.

I understand, its only dev. name on assembla page. Ofc we will change it to something else. So dont worry about that :slight_smile:
