lol #Death what has english got to do with anything? and why are you commenting on it?
cl_maxpackets 100 gives ur ping a lower “fake” reading by about 5-10 me thinks other than that theres not much else u can do.Most high pingers are noobs ie soldier mp40/thompson and are on 56k which is annoyin but thats just the way it is. <3
ET: How can i "Fake" py ping?. anyone?
#DeatH**]SF[, what the hell wrong with you?!
everybody was wrote a relevant comment and you are looking
for argueing and fighting.
if you dont like my wish or my third, get off your ass
outa here, Im not holding any one here.
go try to fight elsewhere, cocksucker.
gee, there is some ppl that really can piss ya off.
elixa> imo its opposite… if u set cl_maxpackets 30 youll get better ping (in numbers)
As I said challenge ping values are much higher than average ping you have ingame , that is why maxping setting sucks…
“Those HPBs are lagging me!”
“Hitboxes have changed with new etpro!”
“Timenudgers can shoot through walls!”
“Proners are impossible to hit!”
“Maxpackets makes them warp!”
“He defused my dynamite!”

Im not looking for a fight at all. You just obviously read English as well as you write it.
I think this IS relevant…
Seriously though ZXC it would be a whole lot easier to just find another server.
lol @ Death his english has nothing to do with it, you were just joining the bandwagon of flaming people on fourms. Squad, but the majority of people have 30 maxpackets… so that means that the vast majoity of players hav a ‘fake’ ping reading? :\
because your antilag sux, and most people don’t enjoy laggy deagos with sticky bullets :X
Ping has nothing to do with your internet connection, ping gives you the latency your IP-packets take to reach the server.
Sitting on a T3, connecting to a server on the other side of the world = bad ping
Having a 56k modem and the server is next door: great ping.
“Great” is relative I guess, but the inherent latency in most modems means you get at least 100 ms ping, and even a 80 byte packet adds something like 30 ms.
