Well I would turn up at every server he went to but said nothing. He’s an OK fella just, Borsuk don’t get big headed my friend, theres a helluva lot of better players than either of us out there and they are BASTARDS to kill not the regular joes we were running around and sometimes over.

You still don’t get my point. If I wanted to boost my ego I would do it in much more camouflaged way. What pisses me off are people who call me lame just bacause I’m not regular smg fanatic. They have no idea how it is like if many areas on map are actually deadzones for soldier with heavy weapon. None of heavy stuff is as versatile as smg. Hmm there’s no need to repeat my previous statements.

I’ve been kicked via admin once, (flamethrower) and other time I received multiple votes to kick me (supported by many people but failed). Seems like Gold Rush is great map for flamethrower.

The topic is not about my great skills (which are obviosly godlike, but I’m an atheist you insensitive clod !), but about

a) lameness of people who can’t stand being killed via weapon other than smg
b) lameness of people who press f1 or f2 on vote WITHOUT CARING WHAT’s THE VOTE ABOUT. I’m sure there are many clueless people who press the key just to make yellow letters disappear quicker. For instance I tried to vote hardcore teamkiler off the server. As any other arrogant teamkiller would do, he immediately repplied by calling a vote to kick ME. And guess what ? Vote failed, but 4-5 people pressed F1. As many as F2. To complete the description - no swearing/cursing on my part, and very low or none team damage.

For idiots there should be an option in menu (not just console command, people are too stupid for that) to completely ignore all votes and don’t display them, if those yellow letters disturb them SO MUCH . They don’t care what is the vote about anyway… additionaly, if portion of idiots turns votes off, vote results will be more “sane”, because there will be more people who actually care what key they press. Same mechanism that works for Darwin’s Awards.

Enough. It was exhausting day and I’m going to gib someone. Go away, unless you want to find yourself on the other side of my syringe ;].

happens to me all the time when i play field ops especially on large servers what can i do if they run around in packs and get hit with my arty

I’ve only been kicked for being to good once. It was the very start of the Oasis map (like 15 seconds into it) - I went flamer, ran up to where their command post is and held the trigger down.
As I suspected, theres was about 10-11 of them all crowded around the room and hallway up there, and I killed all of them, then got killed myself. Next thing ya know, there’s a vote to kick me, and I’m gone.

Stopped playing flamer after that, even though I only really played it on that map, in that position - it’s a great weapon for that - but I don’t like thinking I may be kicked because I was using a strategy that I thought would work well, and it does, worked too good I guess.

I said “like 15 seconds”. meaning approximately. And it wasn’t to their spawn point, it was from the initial Axis old city spawn to the Allied command post area, which is about half way between the two points. 15 seconds or so is very doable imho

we was playin battery as allies i had 4 smg deaths 6 support fire deaths and 20 panza deaths it was a very bad game a few panzas where just sitting up their lvled up getting easy kills, panzas arnt like support fire u can avoid support fire, they arnt like a smg u can beat a smg, its a instant kill very eas to use weapon thats a hit amoung all teh enw players because they can get kills with it and alot of tks as well, well anyone our side very much disliked this panza abused and got them kicked and game then became enjoyable, i felt good about hittin f1.

Aim for the head, it aint hard…

I admit, some are impossible to dodge, like when you step out of a room and are blown away, but if you are from short-medium range, you shouldnt have a problem clincking three headshots off before they fire. If they are far away, then just dodge the thing.

Or just toss an airstrike by them, they usually wont switch to their pistol fast enough to dodge it.

Or snipe them from a conceiled area.

Or if you cant handle them, stay away

Or use a panzer against them.

Voting people off the server because they are beating you with a particular weapon is a coward’s mentality. As BlackDeath noted, there are lots of ways to counter PFs. Use your imagination and coordinate with your teammates. No weapon is perfect, so situation hopeless (ok, not true with timed maps, but I’m thinking general situations), no player unbeatable.

Completely off-topic: does anyone else get annoyed by the lack of decent capitalization, punctuation, absence of line returns, and the use of letters replacing words that occurs in alot of posts (not singling out HellToupee here, please don’t take offense, it just made me think of it)? Maybe I’m just old, but this is not IM. Taking a few moments to actually type out the words, capitalize properly, hit the return key occasionally, and use punctuation and so forth will make your messages more readable, easier to understand, and make you appear to know what you are talking about. I realize that alot of people on here have English as a second language, but that is even more reason to try to write decently. It helps them learn the langugage.
