What type of router do you have? is it running as a dhcp server(ie. assigning ip address’ to your lan pc’s?)
You should have an option to either forward ports or place a PC into the DMZ.
Forwarding port 27960 (I think that is the default port for ET)
you should be able to specifically enable a port to forward to an ip address on your home lan. (ensure you enable udp). I know you said you opened all ports but this will be much more specific, effective & safer!
If that dosen’t work place your PC into the DMZ & see if that works, nb: I do not recommend leaving it in the DMZ as this leaves your machine completely open to the internet. but if it works under the DMZ then u know it is just your router settings.
If none of the above works, then there is something wrong with your local network setup, the 2 lan cards is the most likely the issue. but you will have to give us a description of your setup.
how many pc’s do you have on your lan
do they connect to the internet/router through your pc(2 lan cards)
or do they connect directly to the router for internet access
If your 2nd lan card is not being used, disable it or completely remove it.
Please tell me you are not using Win ICS?
Post a bit more about your lan setup & we will see if this can be solved.
p.s. if you are reolving the et master server than the problem is not outbound but rather that your network is not allowing an incoming connection. The easiest way to test & I have heard that this sometimes will allow you to start receiving server list updates, is to join to a server by direct IP connection…try this one 218.1.92.225…it is in China & for low IP’s so depending on where you are in the world you may not be able to, just find an ip closer to your location.
