Well, I don’t see someone releasing a “pre-view” option ( http://pc.ign.com/articles/713/713098p1.html ) and then the game nearly a year later. I’d vote for Sept - Oct release. Anything else and the Wii/PS3/Gears of War releases will overshadow QW. Any later and BF2142 might be shipping.

BF2142 will be shipping before Quake Wars, I guess. Taking into account that they haven’t got a “it’s ready when it’s done”-policy, they 'll probably feed it to the masses no matter if there are (lesser) bugs or not.
