Still, I think in that case the spawn times should be 30 Allies / 40 Axis, rather than 20 / 30. The 20 sec Allied spawn is negated by the distance they have to travel to get back to the action, and with a 30 sec spawn Axis are almost guaranteed to be able to re-spawn in time to defuse a plant.

One of the reasons Assault is such a popular map for Clan games is because Allies (defending) have a 40 sec re-spawn, so a good Axis team can clear out Allies and plant and have at least a fighting chance of defending it. On most RTCW maps 40 secs is the default re-spawn time for the defending team. A 40 sec spawn and 30 sec countdown for dynamite, as opposed to 30 sec spawn and 30 sec countdown, makes a helluva difference to the balance of the game.

The problem with setting non-default times on maps is making it an accepted standard. If it’s left up to leagues/tournies to decide these things Clans will only argue about it. :frowning:
