Its unnecessary, he can already two-shot rhino with them, why would they need more damage?

Kind of sad, but it beats equipment cases. I’m fine w/ the new level cases for now (won’t have a solid opinion until I open one tbh)
It’s exactly the same as with the LOL points here on the forum.

the kids cant get it why cant we?
WAAAAAHHHH :s
You’ll be getting them sooner than the “kids” as they can only open them from level 7. If you’re already level 7 or above then you have the advantage. Also if you do have a high levelled account, you know/are able to level up quicker and can earn more cases.
@Dawnrazor the problem is that stickies are an active ability you need to master, that´s why he should be a more rewarding engineer for people who spent time in the game. Not like Proxy/Bushwacker which are arguably easier to play. And therefore should have more firepower.
What I disagree with is the notion that he should get something in return for the AoE nerf. He just needs to have his firepower brought down to the same level as the other engineers and that’s it.
Depends on how much they buffed/nerfed the stickies.
I wonder if direct stick damage increase will be enough to down a 90 HP merc with unshakable.

Have to disagree here, Fletcher requires a different playstyle from other mercs but different in itself doesn’t mean harder. Once you understand what you’re supposed to be doing with Fletcher it becomes much easier to kill than with the other 2 engies. I play engie for my team and I don’t like how if I don’t always pick Fletcher I’m hurting the team, I think he should be put on the same level as the other 2 engies so that there was an actually meaningful choice to be made.
@Dawnrazor not sure, i barely ever do play Proxy, but killing people on Pubs with her is the easiest thing in the world. Against skilled players, Fletcher is the better choice imo. It´s similiar how i fell about Arty and Skyhammer.
I forgot to add, has the idea of nerfing Fletcher’s sticky resupply time never gone through your balancing team (or heaven forbid, person)? Continuing to ax splash damage does not make him any less spammy, and that is inherently his problem.
Skilled players might have a longer waiting time… Are you kidding me? It’s public for christ sake… I hope they’ve taken into consideration smaller playerbases in regions like Australia
If the higher skilled players here can only play people of similar skill, we will almost never get a game. It will be like ranked all over again.

So basically the harder to play merc should be nerfed down to the level of the easier to play mercs? But yet still be harder to play? Sure lets nerf sticky damage but then the bombs should be have a homing system added? So it’s easier to sticky people…seems fair to me…if you’re going to nerf skill based play you may as well make it easier to play too.
Some kind of magnet perhaps…mercs have plenty of metallic objects on them.

But he’s not harder to play that’s the point. There is an initial barrier which is rethinking the way you play, but that new way itself is not hard at all. It’s much harder to straight up out-aim someone with an smg than to get kills with stickies, and that’s how Bush and Proxy have to work for the majority of their kills. Mines and turrets are only as easy to use as they are easy to counter for anyone that plays enough to have a decent sense of map layouts and merc matchups.
Thank you for explaining how the process works. Could you please explain what are the reasons the team decided not to give vets retrospective cases? I would have appreciated getting atleast idk… maybe 1/5 1/10 (ie. lvl 40 gets 3 cases) of what I would have earned, hopefully that ain’t to much.

I have to ask this as well. Even if it was half the levels we have in cases that would be fine by me.
120 Damage for an stuck sticky would be a dream for us fletcher mains. But well, looking at amount of 1%hp weapons like the Felix or the Dreiss, makes me doubt they will give it 120 damage.
About the arsenal cases, i think we “higher” level player should get some kind of compensation (the evil word) even if its just a few normal cases for every x levels. However, i would first want to have a look at the % chances which arsenal cases offer before i could say how many cases/much compensation (here it is again) would be fiting. (If you have a high chance for 5 normal cases well… thats 4 more than we got at that level.)
PS:The Booster are useless in most cases… . (3H would get you 2160 extra credits, so they would only be use in ranked or “increase credits by x” events. Still better than what we got at that level!
)
PPS: Im 15k Exp before new level, guess no Dirty Bomb till the update kicks in.
It’s not hard to level up any way. I’m level 62 at the moment and I average one level per day or maybe 0.75 levels minimum, and I only play for a few hours a night. I do score quite a bit of XP though, so maybe it is easier for me, but I certainly don’t feel like I deserve compensation for it. There is no level cap, it makes no difference, you’re still going to get as many arsenal cases are newer players do.

They gave more reasons than “high level players have advantage because they played more time than new ones and they can level up faster”? (or at least that’s how i read it)
As far as i know, leveling up takes more experience for each level, and even if we can get more exp on the matches (because we’re “more experienced”), it will take same or even more time (vs low levels). Probably the’re some high lvl players who can level up in 1-2 days, but this isnt a reason to put all the players in the same bag
What if I get a merserv case in my merserv case in my merserv case in my mercserv case?
