when did d2d say that you will get your key before release anyway? when you bought it, the site just said that the game will be released on may 13th. so you can rage if you dont get the key on the release they but not now.

When they say we can Pre-load it.
Which implies installing the game so that its ready to play as soon as its officially released which requires the key be input into steam, not just downloading the installer ahead of time.

Since the game’ll unlock about 13 hours (?) from now in Europe, it’s high time D2D provided a new key, and the There’s still plenty of time statement on the support page doesn’t feel comforting at all. Oh well.

By ‘giving out keys’ I meant that you’d be given a key if you tried to download the game on the 10th in the right timeframe, i.e. before they noticed something was wrong and pulled them.

So looks like Brink just unlocked in EU for some reason.

I still did not receive my replacement key from D2D and now that I could be playing this I am starting to get angry.

Yeah they had 2 days to fix this which should be plenty. I bet there’s some haggling going on over key prices between D2D and Bethesda or something; at least that would explain the delay. Such a shame.
