I couldn’t add it either. Preordered from UK D2D but I’m not in UK. Maybe that has something to do with it, I don’t know.

I couldn’t get the preorder bonus key, I assume that is normal. Same question, could EU players get the D2D key into steam?

Looks like they just block IPs so you can use tools to fool Steam and use your D2D key to activate it anyway. I am not sure if that is a violation of the Steam user agreement so I am not recommending it without making sure we are allowed to do that.

Also I was able to contact D2D about this issue and they essentially told me I should be bothering Bethesda. -.-

Which is absolute bull**** as they falsely advertised that the product would work for countries outside the UK, and you could buy it just fine even if you said you were in a country that wasn’t the UK.

It’s entirely D2Ds fault as they just happily took our money knowing they were selling a useless product (no offense to Brink!).

But before we can sue them, can we get the keys activated some other way? Faking the IP or whatnot? What to use, and will the game be playable as normal afterwards?

Oh and just a heads up I think a lot of people just got ****ed by D2D here so if anyone at Splash Damage could help us by bringing it up with someone who can fix it or take it up with D2D.co.uk then I bet that’d be a great help, I don’t have faith in their support service resolving this.

I’ve got a little question/problem with D2D aswell. I live in Sweden but pre-ordered from the UK site since it said it was an EU version. Steam will not accept the key for me either which seems buggy, don’t know why. Also after having downloaded the preload from them using the Comrade program, I can only choose Italian, German, Spanish or French as languages for the install when I press launch. Anyone know whats up with that?

Out of curiosity, do you live in the UK or did the activation key still work for you living in another country?

D2D sold us keys that weren’t for our region, the key will have to go into steam at some point for us to play, but it won’t work in our country (I’m also in Sweden) and I’m guessing everything outside the UK.
