Regardless of the keys issue, I’m now trying to preload the game from the D2D store, but my download speed is only around 100 kB/s. This will take ages to download Brink. Is this D2D’s server overload or it’s runing fine for you guys?

It is. It’s just a digital copy of a game. We just need a fudgin’ key. There’s no reason people are waiting for ages for a key. Their Support still says we’ll get a key soon™ before release. Official release is in a couple of hours, steam already unlocked the game and we still don’t have a key. This is just ridiculous, regardless of how cheap we got the game.

I’ll dl it via Steam anyway, since the D2D dl is taking ages. Soon™ my ace.

Where exactly do you see steam already unlocked? It says 7 hours for me.

I can’t see whether it’s unlocked or not, because I didn’t download the D2D stuff and I still don’t have a key, yet. However, several friends are playing Brink and they are from various countries, not just people from the US. Most of them are from Germany, UK, Italy, France, Romania and whatnot. They started playing from 5pm, I think.

Steam says release date is 12th. Just checked it.

If the Keys dont work for other countries than UK, then it is not D2Ds fault, i think. It depends on the contracts between Bethesda(?) and D2D. For us its hard to say who`s guilty, because we are not involved into those internas.
It might be a hard time for D2D and definitely will scratch at their reputations.

D2D is selling the game. They should’ve sorted this out earlier. If they sell the product, they are selling it to us so we can have it on time, the rest isn’t important to us, buyers… The only reason I bought from D2D was ti get the game on time (I didn’t want to wait for the delivery).

Obviously, selling wrong/not working keys is something that can happen to everyone and is not a big deal. The thing is: how long it’s gonna take the store to sort this out. Also, ANY update on the matter would be more than welcome.
