Urk, ok maybe things have changed since I played on it - that was probably a year ago or so.
Damn shame - I’m still trying to convince the admins that changing gravity mid-match isn’t a really good idea on the server I go to most now.
God I wish I could get better pings and had a wider choice :frowning:

nah i tend not to stick around when the games crap and everybody who can do anything about it seems to be more than happy with it that way. And, not go back when they seem to be regulars.

i agree with ya mate on this 1. I play on the 64 man crew nexus server, its very laggy sometimes but fun. i always go allies because i like the challenge and also i try help people out etc etc. what i dont like is the people that go axis and only axis (ive seen people say spectator a whole map till an axis guy leaves then he/she hops onto axis then starts all the bullshit im better then you blah blah blah)

what i love on these serves thoughe, when they are very 1 sided, is when allies get there act togteher, work as a team and slaugter all the noobs, braggers, retards, arseholes and general scum on axis. then the guys that were braggin on axis cant take it and leave :clap:

anyhoo…for a good server to play on which is very fun, even skilled teams and good guys to playw ith are the nC (formaly known as lc) guy. the ip number is 213.230.205.87:27970

Can’t say wether the sort of thing I experienced goes on alot or not as I only added their servers to my ASE when seeing this thread saying how good their servers are run, then the 1st time I was playing there the xp shuffle/ppl swapping back happened.

It could of been an isolated incident, but it’s their server :clap: so they can do what they want really, but it would have been nice for him to set an example :drink:

Well, this is the risk you take by sticking your neck out and recommending servers I guess.

I wouldn’t recommend a server where that kind of thing was the norm. I’d be very, very surprised if it happened when HighBoy was actually playing on the server.

Oh well, sighs they had their chance…

Played on the SD server last night - had been playing Jolt 05 RtCW Market Garden for hours before hand (and yup, I’m using that as my excuse for those ratios - heh) so it took a while to cough ‘adjust’. Ice-T was neck and neck with Blushing_Bride by the time Fuel Dump came along. Have to say, really good games, balanced, friendly and challenging :slight_smile: - that’s the only server I’m going to recommend from now on.

Sometimes people are such dicks that it makes me sick. I hate it when the “cool” guys are having fun being bullies. Hey Lego, it’s just a game. Hey, no shit, but I care more for ET than “just a game” atm.
I love when I meet some nice guys on a server though, nice guys where we can really have some fun. A great flamethrower attack or something is always a blast. I have jumped over the wall on Oasis a few times and yep. It is def. fun, but when the map is done I haven’t learnt anything. I have exams coming up, so I am busy reading books, but after that I’d love to have a game, Errol. Where are you from? I am Danish.

Look I hate players like that too but there’s many times when there are unecessary votes being called toward the latter half of a map when a team (who was pretty good, but were just frustrated they couldn’t win immediately) start leaving like babies. Talk about cowards, how about those guys who can’t deal with the fact that they might not win this map, so they badmouth the server and take off, leaving their entire team a man down minimum. If you’re gettin rocked and you have nothing else to do, then fucking STAY and play it out. Who knows what can happen in the last few minutes.

what i do if someone is calling loads of votes, especially annoying when its to restart the match in the last few minuets, is i bring up the vote window and get my vote ready, as soon as the vote finishes i call my vote, whitch is to kick the retard that is calling all the votes and usually every1 is pissed and there are only 1 or 2 no votes

Agreed. I don’t spam voting cause it is very annoying. Re winning, like somebody else said above, I don’t really care if we win or lose teh map, but if the game sucks it sucks, and when the teams are totally uneven, it really sucks. I usually, because I am either dumb or love the pain (ooo er :P), stay in case a miracle happens, but in most cases it doesn’t. But I agree that if more players stayed on the “owned” team there would be more chance of getting something out of the game.

At the same time, each map like that is 30 minutes out of my life. I am thinking about taking up knitting now for when these occassions arise. With all that time sitting in limbo I should have a nice new “I Love being Pwned” jumper ready for Christmas. Get your orders in early folks!

Well, thanks for all the comments, both good and bad regarding the Mustard Servers. I think that it is difficult to please all the people all the time but for the most part we do our best. If you have the golden oldies of SenF on you are more likely to have as balanced a game as possible as none of us are frightened of switching to a side being pummelled (Sugababe, Ph@tie, Front, Highboy and myself) although we do ask for fellow clanmates to follow by example so I offer my apologies to DG and Bondyboy regarding their comments.The servers do occasionally have a high number of SenF’s playing and the playing abilities varies greatly amongst the clan (watch out when Bilk connects - I usually run for my mum lol!) so even though we switch sides some of us wont make that big a difference!

@Errol, I can only apologise for what must have been a complete fluke. In fact, if I remember correctly I was running along without ammo when I slipped over an empty bullet case and fell knife first into an enemy. No doubt I probably managed to stab myself too…

Thanks again for all the comments, I shall make sure the other admins are aware of these so we can strive to improve the play…

Peeps have to remeber its Subjective, we join peoples servers and expect a certain type of game, but its their server after all and can play the game whatever way they want.
Everyone has a sob story about a crappy games theyve had but we’ve all had clinker games that fuel the urge to play the game. Jump server and quit whining is my new motto.

Cheers for your reasoned response Doddsy, I didn’t want to seem to be slagging ur servers off and thankfully you’ve not taken it that way either.

I can see that you guys do your utmost to run a tight ship and you should all be commended, here have a banana :banana:

Yeah we get this all the time. Thankfully with our fully moderated server we always keep the teams prettey fair, and as clan members have the ability to switch players when neccesary, it usually keeps everything very fair. I think that’s your answer, because servers running with admins are usually more fair and reliable. There is also somthing called semi-admin (i think its a part of etpro) and it’s really good because clan members whom are just minors do not have to be given full admin control, but they can pass votes and password the server etc.
