A lot of the graffiti and such in Brink (like the writings on some of the t-shirts) are actually phases in other languages. It makes the Ark feel more “alive” and give a sense of diversity.

I read in an interview that they basically interviewed a bunch of staff from SD with all different background and asked them for slang phrases in their native dialects and that’s what we see in the game.

I thought of that, as well. I couldn’t find translation for any of it on any websites, though. Plus, some of it has a bunch of weird symbols.

I figure real-life graffiti usually only makes sense to a select few people anyway.
