That sucks on a lot of levels. Also thinking they locked some of these options because Redeye will be soon and they didn’t want people removing the smoke from his grenade.
I have a g3258 and a 750ti with 8gb of ram. before the patch i could run at a (somewhat) stable 60 fps on low with a fps config (not a potato one i think it was c1der or something like that even if it installed right) and now I dip into the 30s during any engagement. I’m not sure what caused this because the issue is much worse for me after the update. Still playable but very annoying.
They basically ruined configs. the Outc1der config (I used that one too) no longer works. That’s why you have a lower frame rate.

He’s not insulting you, he’s giving you the hard truth. Mid-range PCs, around the 400 dollar mark run this game 200+ fps on low settings quite easily, say with an R7 260x and an i5 4690 or 4690k. Your abysmal frame rate is due to your abysmal hardware.
As to his comment on your skill: He’s also right there, garbage framerates and framerate instability IS a liability. No matter how much you believe that the extra 10 fps bringing you from 25 to 35 will make the difference, it won’t.
