Nobody doubts that there are working cheats, the fact that Punkbuster needs to update now and then proves that. I’ve never played against anyone that i’ve even suspected was cheating, although I’ve seen a few get kicked by PB.

trying to dispel any ridicule that people get for pointing out that

I play alot, ok A LOT and I have yet to come across any obvious cheaters in recent memory.
I’m sure someone has something somewhere(google), but after playing for years.
I learned that nothing will replace SKILLS… AND KILL BOTTERS.

Nothin more annoying imo than someone whining “cheater”. They are almost always wrong. NO DEMO/Proof STFU

I remember starting to play FPS games online- I was bad(but in my mind I wasn’t “that bad”). Why was I getting railed at first site. hmmmmm.(yeah thats what I was thinkin, they must be cheating I’m not “that bad”)
well after lots of reading and playing and playing and playing, the only people that I wanted to play against was the ones that “rail at first site”. I learned that nothin replaces skills. i.e. KILL BOTTERS

say what ya want about punkbuster, but from my experience in turning in a suspected cheat they had People on it within the hour. I was impressed. but i didnt yell “Cheater” I quitely made a demo and sent it to them. (turns out it wasnt a cheat but a setting left on by id for a single server test patch)

I forgot to mention, I was playing on PB servers, as always. If
you just use the enemy tracking hack, it’s virtually impossible
to detect if you are a little subtle in it’s use. If fact, I’d say it’s better
than the aimbot, you can track exactly where your enemy is from
,for example, the fueldump to the allied spawn, if playing as axis.

I have tried to record a demo, but it does NOT show the hack menu
4 some reason. :???:

I do get it. I just tried to see today how good PB servers are. They
are vunerable to cheating, thats all i wanted to find out. All you
people that are so adament that there is no cheating going on
I can prove them wrong, and people don’t like it that they are WRONG
do they???. I don’t see the point in cheating in any game, it
defeats the the whole, so obvious, point of playing it!.

I can laugh at myself, and any mistakes i may make, you should loose the ego and go and play some FAIR ET, if you can find it on a public
server.

see how bad i play, lol, and you will know that I don’t cheat!.

You’ve just answered your own question. They can be difficult to spot,
especilly the enemy tracking hack. Nowhere near as obvious as the
aimbots, but very useful as I found out. Try to play fair against some
one whos tracked you from half way accross the map, and has the advantage of surprize in an attack.

Try it on a n00b server, just for a laugh and see how many kills you rack up!. It’s a disgrace and makes the game totally pointless, as do all cheats…

So, what I would like to know is why forum members deny that there arent any cheats out there. The common answer we see is “You just suck, quit blamining your ineptitude on others” Go back and read his original post. He is saying that he found one such cheat that hadn’t been caught by PB yet. Thank you to the mature people that told him how to report this cheat.

and they are out there more than you know. Just because you are too good to worry about the opponent that just jumped out around a corner and shot you in the head 3 times, doesn’t mean you can close your eyes to the fact that they ARE out there.

PB is NOT safe, people can cheat.

Yeah, just the once to see if it could be done. Wasn’t as funny as
listening to some of your arguements…

if you had read my original post, you would see why I downloaded
a cheat for. Simply to TEST PB I do not have any desire to cheat
in a game that i enjoy exactly as it was meant to be. Hell, I don’t even
tweak my graphics setting or other such tricks to try to gain an advantage,
whatsoever.

Oh and ta LaRrY, i see the way of the force now, editing has come to thee! :banana:
