Firstly hello everyone, I’m new to the forums.

Now this is not exactly a great 1st topic to discuss on this forum
I’m sure, but as a regular visitor I haven’t found a great need to
post anything until now.

With ref’ to post below mine:

I’m afraid that PB is a total waste of time. I checked out a few
cheats now doing the rounds, and yes the DO work.

All you who doubt the aimbot, it’s not the greatest, esp over a long
distance when you have a moving target, but if your enemy in sight
is close or stationary, it works a DREAM.

Also the hack that makes the opposing team all appear as solid red
models, visible through walls, scenery, every bloody thing is a HUGE
tactical advantage. I tested this all day today, on a large number
of servers, and I didn’t get kicked once…

My hopes of a fair game at last in the shape of ET have been shattered,
I really feel like not playing anymore. :frowning:

Honestly, in the last month I have seen so much cheating or possible cheating. Its become too common now. It just ruins the game for everyone. I hope they will come up with a solution for all this.

If your enemey is close and stationary, you don’t NEED an aimbot to kill them in 4 shots.

Punkbuster updates, cheaters update. It is a neverending story. Almost every public cheat will be detected at some point, but the problem is in ET there is no way to really ban cheaters, so they just get a new cheat and come back.

If the fact that you might play against a cheater makes you not want to play, that is your choice.

Too right Abraxas , The game I love the most is turning into a total cheat
fest. I hope they can sort it too, what’s the point in playing. I
don’t have the time to commit to a clan, I just want a good honest
game every now and then. :drink:

In two years of RtCW and the last months of ET, I have never seen anything cheat like at all.
If you are getting owned, deal with it, and for Christ’s sake stop wasting our time with these self pitiying, whiney posts about supposed cheats. :banghead:

make sure you send all the info you have on these cheats to evenbalance/PunkBuster, im sure some clever person will post the web site shortly

Oh well I’m not too worried about it… cheaters don’t got shit on me, I’ll still fuckin pwn them like I do now and have done.

The only thing that would bug me is bastards with wall hacks, but at least they’re VERY easy to detect while spectating unless the guy is a total genius when it comes to not following people through walls.

I put that link in cos I knew I’d get some one who thinks
they know it all, and that there are no cheats in ET, flame me
calling me me and others who have some degree of intelligence,
self pitying losers.

Do you blame me for pointing out something
that NEEDS to be seen, for people to do something about it?.
