Yup. Nice post, Kendle, kudos to you for showing restraint. But I think you’ve missed one important point (which I think you did make in an earlier post, but it’s worth repeating).

It’s my belief that while cheats (“real” cheats, not exploits) in RtCW & ET do exist, they are not so prevalent as to make these games no fun to play. Which is why I still play them.

The problem is those who believe that cheats are everywhere (or almost everywhere) because such people spread poisonous distrust. Everyone suffers when accusations of cheating fly. For this reason it’s important to labour the point, and to try to educate those like I R O N M A N who come from a cheat-ridden background that cheating is, thankfully, the exception and not the rule in the Wolfie community.

I think by ‘Wolfy’, Smyler meant a Wolfenstein server (i.e. RTCW rather than ET), not a server with the name ‘Wolfy’. That’s how I read it, at least (I could be completely wrong, of course :)).

Several people in this thread have requested more solid information (i.e. ‘proof’) from you Ironman. If you’re unwilling to provide this then you should just say so, rather than ignoring it and repeating yourself, which could be construed as an attempt by you to simply antagonise other forum users. I’m sure this isn’t your intention.

I’m closing this thread now, because it’s going nowhere.
