(Oxygen - o2) #1

Hey

http://cm.13cliff.co.uk

and sign up on the forums, im converting all the tuts from the old layout to the new and that will take some time :banghead: but it will look good when its done

please report all errors to me

The black text on blue background is a little painful on the eyes (less saturation in the blue would help). I would reduce the width to get rid of that horizontal scrollbar too.

Have to agree with sqwirral there. It also looks like the site has been designed for 1152*864 re.s or whatever the next one is . Makes it hard to read news post and use the forum effectively.

However the forum itself looks really well

Could use a bit of PS work, forums look great tho.

you should really do something about your logo, 350KB for such a trivial graphic is just way to much.

(Oxygen - o2) #7

its .png if i make it anything else it looks all crappy like it was made in MS paint

actually i think some of the site WAS made in MS paint

(Loffy) #8

Hi!
The web-text goes too far to the right, on my screen. I have a 17 inch screen (I think) and the web site is just to broad. I have to scroll to the right to read the end part of the text. Not big problem, and maybe it’s just me, but it is kiind of annoying.
Site looks OK other wise.
Nice one!

yeah its designed for e high res and im looking to see how i can get it working for all res’

ill look into that now since i have a few people askin about it

holy crap

it just dose not want to work! it wont specify itself in percent! :banghead:

(senator) #10

Here is your logo saved as a JPEG, no visual difference noticeble and 25KB instead of 364KB. I could have saved it at medium quality with very few minor graphic glitches and at only 15KB

Please download the file if you want to replace yours as I am going to delete it again sooner or later

(Oxygen - o2) #11

ok, thanks

also i notice in IE there are no problems with the background colour and the background colour of the image, but in firefox you can just see a diference

IE is screwed up

BTW i cant save as good because i only have fireworks and that saves in .png, and paint just saves in crap qualiy :disgust:

(eRRoLfLyNN) #12

Just right click from here and save image as to your desktop?

(Oxygen - o2) #13

no i mean the actual image i already have the 1 that senator kindly sent me

(evilsock) #14

Go download the trial version of PaintShop Pro - it’s good at file formats and compression - I have 7 and it works for me
