I’d imagine (hope) with the customisation in the game there’d just be a GUI to import sounds/graphics into a specific folder or PK3.

Failing that, as said, just put the allowable sounds in an unchecked PK3.

With something like breathing or footsteps?
It would be fun to customise all sounds, there are some great HL2 sound packs out there
But from a competative multiplayer point of view you have a valid point
However for hitsounds alone I don’t see a problem

Mods are great and all
But it would be a real achievement for SD if the clan match community
Could realistically start organising some tournaments etc. on day 1
Rather than whining, waiting for SDK, waiting for a ProMod or similar

My other main request ATM is for female characters
But it has already been said that is very very unlikely to be available off the bat
I can live in hope that this might be done with a patch/DLC or whatever

I’m just really excited by Brink
And wish for it to be the best it can be

This is one of the few games that I am looking forward to playing next year (hopefully). My main concerns center around the choppiness of the animations present in ETQW/Wolfenstein and the sound issues with the GDF AR. Any progress on improving these issues?

The sound issue with the AR (I believe more weapons had it, it’s just that it was obvious with the AR) has definitely been fixed, it was something the community pointed out very early on in this Brink section.

Yeah, just like you guys said it’s OUTRAGEOUS to have separate multiplayer and singleplayer, tell them it’s OUTRAGEOUS not to be able to host servers.

Good question, it hasn’t been answered yet. I do think it will though.

Well, as it happens, we’re not doing gigantic one-size-fits all hitboxes anymore, but more reasonable sized boxes for torso, head, and limbs. And these do match the body type, so yeah, big guys are easier targets to hit.
