Brink needs Splitscreen

It doesn’t have splitscreen, sorry

so it’s ok for PC players to lug gear around for LAN play, but console players should be able to have 2 or 4 players play on one game because lugging gear is too difficult ?

If you want a splitscreen game to play with friends you’ll have to look elsewhere I’m afraid. I understand you want to play with your friends, and it is fun, but it is not something that is absolutely mandatory imo.

Ok. This is going around in circles so you know what. Forget i said anything. I thought this was a discussion entitled ‘brink should have split screen’, where people gave their opinion on the lack of splitscreen but obviously i was wrong.

Well you stormed in and said ‘I’m not buying it’, what’s to discuss? You won’t want to talk about a game you’re not going to buy, and SD aren’t going to add splitscreen on your saying you’re not buying it. Yes, it would be ‘nice’, but it’s not a game breaker… and you’re only doing yourself out of a fun gaming experience for trivial reasons.

I agree, my friend has an xbox and it’s ****ing hillarius to play split screen while drunk. That’s cuz I’m so childish, so we don’t even need alco to do it :smiley:

And…ive been nothing but polite. and you guys really are doin nothing for the Brink community. If anything, im more put off buying the game now because the people who play on it seem to act so high and mighty.

and yes i removed them all because to be honest i dont really want to be associated with this anymore.

You said you weren’t buying the game because it doesn’t have splitscreen, you were given alternative options which you refused to pander to for one reason or another… what exactly are you wanting at this point?

passive aggresive doesn’t work here, I’d rather play with people who want to play the game for what it is rather than listen to “I won’t buy the game if X isn’t there”, that’s fine don’t buy it, but don’t expect sympathy

Most of the time before I get a game I play spit screen with a friend it helps me decide if I will like it this game needs split screen it would be PERFECT for it

Asking for these kind of features is a bit late.

How is playing with a friend in splitscreen helping you decide if you like the game?

  1. The game doesn’t have splitscreen, so if you like splitscreen, this game doesn’t have it.
  2. If you’re friend has the game, you can try it out anyway, without using co-op

I think brink needs split-screen too,I Have a PS2 and me and my friends used to play PES 2009 split-screen alot,I mean where’s all the fun if you can’t see your friend raging that he lost? :),And since brink has a co-op mode it’ll be will be a blast playing it on coop.
