That’s someone elses reason, I want yours.

Console has plenty of questionable players as well. Every population of people has questionable members.

More smoke and mirrors.

(DarkangelUK) #45

So wanting to give is being greedy… is that how it works these days… who knew??

(wolfnemesis75) #46

I am looking forward to Brink 2 and Brink 3

(gooey79) #47

Wouldn’t that mean Brink becomes another casualty in the ‘stagnant pool of regurgitated sequels’?

I’m really surprised that no one else kind of made a joke about the fact the guy said Splash Damage should ask for more time; is an extra year or two not enough extra time? They said all they were doing was polish and stuff for that time. That begs the question what they consider polish.

(tokamak) #49

Triple A games are build with studios several times the size of Splash Damage. You can frame that as being ambitious and biting off more than you can chew, but at the same time you can also call it cheap.

(Thundermuffin) #50

I get that games take time, especially when being made by a smaller studio with ambitious ideas. That isn’t what I’m poking fun at; I’m laughing at the fact they said the game was pretty much done and they delayed it for a long time so they could “polish” it. The game I got isn’t polished, nor is it what I would consider “done.”

(wolfnemesis75) #52

It will be interesting to see what direction SD goes in with future projects.

(tokamak) #53

If they did what?

(INF3RN0) #54

I am guessing something that will maintain a 50 dollar price tag for at least 6+ months.

(wolfnemesis75) #55
I am guessing something that will maintain a 50 dollar price tag for at least 6+ months.
I got my money’s worth though. 250+ hours played. That’s a lot of fun for $60!

(INF3RN0) #56

Too bad the game wasn’t made just for you br0. Guess that’s what your main problem is.

(wolfnemesis75) #57
Too bad the game wasn’t made just for you br0. Guess that’s what your main problem is.
You mean, too bad it wasn’t made just the way you want it, cuz I already like it, brah. and with the amount of time you spend on here b***T’n and moaning about, one would think ya got nothing else you could do except that. I don’t hang around sites for games I don’t like, brah.

(INF3RN0) #58

So I shouldn’t whine along with the other million folks who bought it with the same general want in the product as me, just because you and a few hundred others like it BRAH? There is no reason why I wouldn’t want to make sure SD realizes what went wrong with Brink? You haven’t played any other SD games right? Your an idiot? Nvm we all know the answer, but we all be trulln cept you lewl.

(tokamak) #59

What’s interesting about Wolfnemesis is that not only does he seem to adore the game, he’s also very certain that he wouldn’t like it in any other way. So I’m curious how he’ll respond to the weapon balance patch as that supposedly will drastically change things. Either he’ll like it, which means he’s been talking out of his neck all along exposing him as a complete troll with attention issues or he hates it which truly shows his devotion to the game as it is now.

Mark this post. We’ll see.

And to apply the same standards to me: If I don’t think the next patch improves things, then I’m just a reactionary whiner that just want to see things changed for the sake of change.

Keep preaching the gospel of yer opinion passed off as the voice of the million folks you got in your pocket somehow. I’ll just keep posting how I feel, thank ya very much. Ok, brah?
