I play this game alot. I’m getting OK at it too. Today was the first time i ever got to be the top of the XP tree after three maps so i was pleased with myself. As soon as the match ended people started accusing me of cheating. That really ruined my day. Why why why

As DrGratis said, its kinda an inside joke. Don’t worry we are not getting on your case. Congratulations on your improved gameplay. Keep up the good work. I actually learned some things by watching frag-movies that various clans have made. Check out the swertcw website for a whole bunch of them.

As long as we are relishing our good gameplay, I was playing yesterday and for some reason I was unstoppable. Let me just say that this is in no way indicative of my usual gameplay. I was playing against other players that have been traditionally equal or better in skill than myself so I am not sure why it happened. The only reason I got on was to test some scripts that I had installed for recording demos (removing screen clutter, that kinda stuff). Then I proceeded to ignore the idea of making demos even though I was having the best gameplay I ever had. I am a moron.

It was rediculous. My intuition was virtually foolproof, my timing was almost perfect, my aim was stunning - literally, I made one shot and then just stood there wondering how I did it. I am sure that when I get on later today I will be back to my usual mediocre to moderate skill level. But I couldn’t stop talking about it last night to my friends that play the game. I’m sure that they can’t wait to waste me. I’m equally sure that Smyler is putting me on his list as soon as he reads this. :stuck_out_tongue: I’ll save you the trouble - I play on CCM (yes, the server that doesn’t allow swearing).

Take it as a compliment. You play so good people think you are cheating. As long as you know that you are not it should not really be a problem, unless people are banning you from servers.

well that’s just great. I’ve just read through those threads that Dawg suggested and i suddenly feel very young and innocent. Although you are all clearly a bunch of loons i would like to thank you all for kindly answering my question even though i still have only a slight idea of what your going on about

and smyler is so frightning that i think i’ll never post on another forum for the rest of my life (runs away in tears)
