Back on the original subject of being accused of cheating…

This just happened to me but a few minutes ago and I’m still shaking with rage! :angry:
I’m not a great player, no elite mad skills (i’m not even going to attempt the ascii stylee!), but I know the maps well enough and know my responsibilities as a team player depending on what class is needed. I also make it my mission to spot incoming Covert Ops as I generally find them pretty easy to spot with all the regular methods -

  1. What weapon are they carrying
  2. Lack of name when in close proximity
  3. Not showing up on the radar
  4. Teamate recently deceased crying ‘Enemy in disguise!’ suddenly appears running through the doors of the bank vault :wink:

Now for some reason this chappie (Wave9K…named and shamed!) playing a co on the opposition team was determined I was cheating and even after giving him ‘spoilers’ about how easy it can be to spot co’s he was still being generally abusive and sullying my name! I continued trying to be at least civil, even offering to leave the server if more people thought I was cheating but it was a case of…:banghead:
I know some have said it should be taken as a compliment, but I can’t, I feel truly insulted!

Well smyler, you can champion the cause of the average player by getting your hose all primed, because there seems to be a shitload of these players.
And B_B thanks for the sentiment at least someone sympathises with the plight of the average player doing pretty good for a change, but your probably far better than me so I’ll have to vote you off! :poke:

The real question is… are you really a blushing bride or are you taunting us with your faux femininity?!? The online-gaming world is filled with young men who need to feel that they have some contact with members of the opposite sex! I, of course, am not one of them - as I no longer fit into the young category and I also have a girlfriend. Playing this game keeps me in touch with my younger side. :slight_smile:

Actually, I would like to see more women playing online games like this. So, in a sense, I was hoping that blushing_bride was a woman. Just not for my perverted pleasure! :slight_smile:

I always found it amusing to see the teenage players fawn over female players when they come on the servers. No matter how good/average/mediocre the female player was, some dork would be like “you’re really good, wanna join my clan? send me an email at … blah blah blah”. Yeah, that is soooo subtle - I am sure she has NEVER seen that before. She will be utterly and totally clueless to the fact that the other players on the server that are better than her are being ignored by this charming lad. Then you will strike up a long-distance relationship with her via email, arrange to meet her, fly across the world to meet her, and, finally, in a little cafe in a city . . . you find out she is a guy. Oops!
