Each ability of one team needs a counter-ability for the opposing team, which in turn needs a counter-counter-ability for the original team: every great sniper location needs opposing concealment for attackers; each open vehicle route needs cover for defenders; every choke point needs fortification.

Honestly this isn’t news… and its necessary to think of this for ET maps already (and every other game except some instagib-dm stuff) because if you don’t you end up with those unbalanced maps we got TONS of in ET (sadly not only among the custom maps too). Lets just hope they will do well.

Frankly I agree with some of the posters above me. Quake Wars lost my sale as well. It is simply attrocious. Bf 2142 will tide me over until the RTS’s come out. Quake wars will be after that wave.

Seriously… Comparing games before they’re out is a little bad, (which I take part in too) but comparing two future games which are even in a different market is kinda ridiculous.

Well, they’re not using the same IP. That’s for the admins to sort out.

But I thought I saw a good solution for these matters down the hall, I believe there was a glass plate reading “Safety tapir alarm, break glass in case of a forum emergency”.

I know already now that I will throw my money into EA’s milking machine and get myself the a game with reskinned gameplay mechanics, just because I can’t wait. I will enjoy it to stare at the loading screen for hours, get myself coffee after coffee as the server list tries to update etc… :clap:

Seriously, if it wasn’t about money, I wouldn’t be sad not to see some people in QW… :wink:
