Battlesense Wreath

(XVI the Great) #1

I understand this question is a million years old, but I still can’t seem to find a way to strictly level it up. While I’m not focused on it now as I’m relaxing with Medic, and have other awards, I still don’t understand what exactly to do. One thing I may suspect is at level 3 regeneration from damage, maybe that’s where the xp comes from.

I’m on 360 patch 1.1, if that means anything.

you need to get sligthly wounded by the enemy and hide without dealing or receiving damage for 30 (?, or was it 40) seconds.

You DON’T want to get that award.

Its a sign of complete noobness to gain it. After hundreds of hours of playing i got only around 30 xp points in there, and most of them achieved when i went afk or sth.

Basically a player that can actually gets that award ‘spontaneously’ is a a slow-moving, clueless, not contributing to victory noob. Pretty much.

(light_sh4v0r) #3

I think it was 45 seconds even. IE: get hurt and hide for 45 seconds without doing anything --> 1 xp.

(Proteas) #4

Just play Covert ops - Infiltrator behind enemy lines

(light_sh4v0r) #5

And then? 45 seconds without dealing any damage is not a really useful asset to your team.

Α good example from old good days  0:43

Not a good example, he’s dealing damage all the time.

(Dthy) #9

best example i remember is a player called ForgiveMeFather…, He fired no shots and killed no enemy’s. I think he would of got this award pretty fast

(Ceitic) #10

Sorry some rubbish said here. I’ve got the Battlesense Wrearth and it certainly NOT through hiding some where and licking my wounds. I think it was that I always do my utmost to acheive the Objevtive of whatever area for the team I’m. My suggestion is as said elsewhere play the game for your team and not just for your own XP and Ego.

(murka) #11

Oh, you must be one of those who do obj without covering their own arse(no offence). One way to get it is get hit, hide, but the enemy is away from obj so it’s more beneficial to let him live.

I see this done wrong mostly. Teammates stay outside to kill enemies there, but should just ignore them as spawnshield/good knowledge can get you from spawn to obj area without dying.

(Szakalot) #12

@Ceitic,
the only way to get it is to receive damage without giving any back. You might be good at constructing bridges or whatever, but if your not dealing any damage tot enemy, your making it harder for everyone else on your team. Instead of running like a lemming, try to clear the area first

(ED209) #13

Play as a Tech. You are busy reviving, spawn-hosting or deploying Stroyent. You also get to replenish your health and use Stroydown. Ohh and occasionally you can shoot people.

(Szakalot) #14

ill repeat, not dealing damage for 45 seconds is a sign of noobnes, nothing is ever that important for THAT long. The longest it takes to obj anything is 40seconds. Excluding volcano drone fly-ins, but that seriously cant account for 600 cases (and you would need to get wounded by enemy without dying (im not sure whether having your drone destroyed would count).

(ED209) #15

You have to play as a tech for a looooong time though… didn’t get BS for ages… not that I was trying

(XVI the Great) #16

Hehe well on 360 the “team” I have to worry about is… one human and six bots, so I mean, I think it’s okay to actually try and get this award. :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks for the clarification… And as for ED209, Medic is my thing, 35% on BS Wreath… Have l12k-15k in each class, but medic is somewhere like 33k exp, so… :stuck_out_tongue:

(ED209) #17

Can’t remem how much xp I had as a med, but it counted for a lot… I remember I had a crazy number of Stoyent Cells deployed

(kiunk) #18

Pretty much, be a supporting player… medic/technician and follow ur teammates. i found gdf works better cos of instant revive and medcrate.
letting them do the killing for u and insta revive em. there is usually enough action to keep u running from revive to revive, dropping medpack and self shocking, and using medcrate when things get heavy.
At full sprint with knife out, its possible to circle around a teamate and revive em taking very minimal damage even in the heaviest firefight.
Its not noobiness if u keep ur entire team alive at the objective and dont fire a shot, thats what other classes are for. It IS NOOBINESS to be a dead medic.

(INF3RN0) #19

Szak its noobieness in competitive 6v6, but I would think it has its place in the pub. I still think that only playing to get certain awards is noobie though .

Just as fast to run with the pistol out. You also get the added benefit of being able to defend yourself.
